Bai Jinjin snorted coldly and took Ye Jiuge to the chair beside her.
"Ninth Princess, it's fine if you just come here, but isn't it inappropriate for you to walk around with this man every day?" Concubine Lin said, suppressing the disgust in her heart.

Bai Jinjin chuckled when she heard that, "Thank you, Grandma Huang, but Jinjin still has some things to deal with."
After saying that, he stared at Qiuju lying on the ground.
The Queen Mother looked at Bai Jinjin with some confusion when she heard this. "Jinjin, I came to pick up the Buddhist scriptures that Concubine Lin copied a few days ago. What are you doing here?"
"Jinjin was waiting in the palace for the Imperial Household Department to deliver coal when this man called Qiuju came in with a group of people and started mocking my mother. Jinjin was so angry that she searched every palace for him, and finally found this servant at Concubine Lin's place."

"What's wrong with Yan'er's homework?" the Queen Mother asked curiously.
Bai Jinjin looked at the Third Prince with a smile, "Of course the Third Prince skipped classes to take Sixth Sister out to play."
Upon hearing this, the Queen Mother frowned, "Yan'er, what's going on?"
The third prince glared at Bai Jinjin, who shrugged.
"Grandma Empress, it was because Lingling felt a little unwell that your grandson took her out." said the third prince.
This reason was so far-fetched that the Queen Mother didn't believe it. She finally sighed and said nothing. She just called the palace maid to peel the lychees. After eating them, she asked Bai Jinjin to take some back. "Jinjin, take them back and eat them. I can't finish all the lychees."
