Chapter 9: Thighs are so good to me

Bai Jinjin scratched her head guiltily.

"No, I didn't forget."

A daughter is best known by her mother. Just looking at Bai Jinjin's expression, she knew that she must have forgotten. Concubine Ye smiled and shook her head.

"Well, I'm not here to accuse you."

She looked at the palace maid beside her and said, "Let's have dinner."

At the dinner table, Bai Jinjin looked at the big crab on the table intentionally or unintentionally.

Reach out your hand cautiously.

“Snap—”

Bai Jinjin rubbed her hands and looked at Concubine Ye with tears in her eyes.

"Why did mother hit me?"

Looking at Bai Jinjin's pitiful little appearance, Concubine Ye tried to cover up her cough.

"This crab is cold in nature. You've already eaten two. You can't eat any more."

Bai Jinjin was numb, really numb. She thought about the countless crabs she and her sisters ate every day before she traveled through the book.

I didn't expect that I would be restricted after traveling through a book. No matter how I think about it, it's such a loss. The villain in my heart shed tears silently.

But the reality is that Bai Jinjin put down her chopsticks obediently and said, "I'm full."

No, no, no meal is complete without crab!

Seeing that Bai Jinjin had almost finished eating, Concubine Ye asked the maid to take the meal away.

Concubine Ye's expression turned serious and she asked, "Have you been playing with the neighboring country's hostages these past two days?"

When Bai Jinjin saw that Concubine Ye finally asked the question, her shoulders immediately slumped.

"Yes, none of my four brothers wanted to play with me. Since Jinjin had no friends to play with, she went to play with her ninth brother."

Concubine Ye's words to Bai Jinjin to stay away from the hostage were choked in her mouth and she said no more.

I know that my daughter doesn't have many friends. Now that someone finally wants to play with her, should I really refuse?

Bai Jinjin knew it but was laughing secretly, hehe, it's absolutely impossible for you to keep me away from your thighs.

Concubine Ye originally wanted to ask Bai Jinjin some questions, but it was obvious that Bai Jinjin's mind was not on that at all. She sighed and was about to let Bai Jinjin go back.

Seeing that Concubine Ye was hesitant to speak, Bai Jinjin knew that she was just worried about Ye Jiuge. She patted her chest and said, "Don't worry, mother. Jinjin is very smart!"

Seeing her promise, Concubine Ye was amused and nodded in relief, letting Bai Jinjin go out to play.

After lunch, no, actually it was afternoon tea, Bai Jinjin felt tired and wanted to go back to the palace to take a nap.

I found that Bai Lingling was chatting and laughing with the four princes in front of me. I don’t know what the second prince said that made Bai Lingling laugh.

Bai Jinjin felt unlucky and turned to leave, but Bai Lingling had already seen her and quickly called her to stop when she saw Bai Jinjin was about to leave.

Seeing that Bai Jinjin didn't want to pay attention to him at all, the smile on her face froze, and then she said with a sad look in her eyes: "My sister finally holds a grudge about what happened in the Imperial Garden."

The four princes couldn't bear to see Bai Lingling's sad look. The second prince gave the third prince a look, and the third prince understood immediately. He followed the second prince and dragged Bai Jinjin in front of him over.

Bai Jinjin was so upset that she knew she would feel uncomfortable if Bai Lingling didn't act like a jerk.

But Bai Lingling was satisfied with the behavior of these two people. She was now the one who came up with the best idea for the flood.

If I carry out my plan, I will be the hero of this flood. Who would dare to look down on me? In the future, maybe it will be Bai Jinjin's turn to imitate her dressing style to get other people's attention.

Thinking of Bai Jinjin's miserable appearance in the future, Bai Lingling looked at Bai Jinjin with a look of pride in her eyes.

Bai Jinjin was so close to printing the words "You are a fool" on her face.

"What are the Second and Third Princes doing?"

The Second Prince held his head so high that Bai Jinjin was afraid that his head would become dislocated from his neck.

"Apologize to Lingling quickly." The second prince ordered.

Bai Jinjin smiled.

"Why should I apologize?"

The eldest prince looked at Bai Jinjin with an unrepentant expression and scolded her.

"Hurry up and apologize to Lingling. You slapped her in the Imperial Garden last time. Lingling doesn't care too much about you, but we will remember it, so apologize quickly."

Bai Jinjin was so angry that she almost laughed.

"Bai Lingling bumped into my hand and still wants to apologize?"

Seeing this scene, Bai Lingling finally had a place to vent the frustration she had been feeling for so long, but it was not enough, not enough.

Bai Jinjin's eyes were full of mockery towards Bai Lingling, and when Bai Lingling met Bai Jinjin's gaze, her resentment towards her deepened.

Bai Jinjin said with a smile as beautiful as a flower, "Okay, I apologize, but you guys protect Bai Lingling so closely. Should I apologize to you or to her?"

When the princes heard this, they thought it made sense and exposed Bai Lingling.

Bai Lingling looked at Bai Jinjin walking towards her, and a victorious smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.

Bai Jinjin just walked to Bai Lingling's side.

“Snap—”

The four princes were stunned, and Bai Lingling was also stunned with her hands covering her face.

Bai Jinjin blew on her numb hands and said with a smile, "Sister Ling, do you like my apology?"

Bai Lingling lowered her head with hatred in her eyes, and the humiliation seemed to solidify into substance. Out of concern for the four princes, Bai Lingling tried her best to restrain her hand from returning the favor, and burst into tears.

Hearing Bai Lingling's crying, the four princes came to their senses and hurried to comfort Bai Lingling, who was crying uncontrollably.

The Second Prince was so angry that he pushed Bai Jinjin, causing her to stumble. Just as she was about to fall to the ground, a pair of strong shoulders supported her.

Bai Jinjin looked up and saw that it was Ye Jiuge. The murderous intent in Ye Jiuge's eyes was becoming more and more obvious. Bai Jinjin quickly grabbed his arm and whispered to him to calm down.
