Chapter 111 Bad Habits

He shook a pack of cigarettes he had just taken out of Su Yinyin's bag and said, "This is confiscated."

Su Yinyin disagreed: "Oh."

The man grabbed her backhand and said sternly, "What's your attitude?"

Su Yinyin was startled by his sudden action.

He hooked Su Yinyin's hair with his fingertips and twisted it around his fingers a few times: "What did you learn during your trip abroad? Drinking, smoking - a lot of bad habits."

Su Yinyin was anxious and didn't bother to pay attention to his nitpicking questions.

"If we don't leave now, we'll really be discovered."

"So what if they find out? The worst that can happen is we'll die together." He hooked his arm around Su Yinyin's waist, his tone very firm, and then whispered, "Are you afraid?"

Su Yinyin rarely wanted to answer his question seriously. She shook her head and said, "I'm not afraid."

But she didn't want to see Lu Jingxu die in front of her a second time.

His tone was full of pity. Although they were in a dark room, he seemed to be constantly outlining Su Yinyin's features with his eyes. In three years, she had changed a lot. He was afraid that there was something he had not discovered, some bad habits he could not control, or perhaps her heart had changed as well.

"I can't bear to let you go now."

"Stop it." Su Yinyin raised her voice a little, "It's not like we won't see each other tomorrow."

Lu Jingxu finally let her go, and said with a smile: "Then wait for me at home tomorrow."

"Um."

The two of them walked out one after the other at different times, and Su Yinyin took a taxi.

Su Yinyin got out of the car at the foot of an office building. The main event today was not the engagement party.

When the person at the front desk saw Su Yinyin walk in, he quickly stopped her and said, "Miss, wait a minute, who are you looking for?"

"Wei Qiancheng."

"Do you have an appointment?"

Su Yinyin looked him up and down and shook her head.

"No."

"I'm sorry, miss. We can't let you in without an appointment. If you want to see Mr. Wei, I can make an appointment for you in advance."

As he spoke, he began typing on the computer keyboard, registering the appointment information: "What is your name?"

"Su Yinyin."

"Okay, Miss Su Yinyin, we've already made an appointment for you with Mr. Wei. There are thirteen people ahead of you, so please come back tomorrow."

“…”

Su Yinyin felt that this person didn't quite understand the situation: "Call Wei Qiancheng and tell him I have an emergency."

"Sorry, Miss Su, President Wei is in a meeting right now and can't answer the phone."

A group of people in blue uniforms walked in from the other side of the hall. The front desk clerk there made a phone call and blocked the group at the door.

Su Yinyin looked over, her eyes flashing... She didn't expect them to come so early.

"I think I need to remind you that if you don't let me in, your boss will have to go in."

The receptionist thought Su Yinyin was quite humorous and smiled, "Ms. Su, even if the sky falls, you can only go in to see President Wei tomorrow. This is the company's policy."

After he said this, he found that Su Yinyin was concentrating on looking at the other side. The people over there all had serious expressions, and it seemed that the front desk clerk over there was also a little difficult for them.

There was no trace of joking on Su Yinyin's face.

His smile faded a little, and he suddenly changed his mind. He confirmed with Su Yinyin with some suspicion:

"Miss Su, are you... serious?"

The security guard at the side felt something was wrong when he saw Su Yinyin staying at the front desk for so long. He came over to ask what was going on. He looked a little fierce and it seemed that he wanted to kick Su Yinyin out.

Su Yinyin stood there, neither able to advance nor retreat. Suddenly, a dark shadow jumped out of the elevator in front. A man wearing a hat and a mask rushed across the hall like a flash of lightning.

Su Yinyin quickly grabbed him and pulled off his mask. It turned out to be the person she was thinking of.

He saw Su Yinyin's eyes widen, and immediately stammered: "You...you...are you not—"

The receptionist also recognized Wei Qiancheng and was a little surprised. She really didn't expect her boss to appear in this way. "Boss Wei?"

"Shh, keep your voice down, Yinyin, what are you doing standing here like an idiot?"

Su Yinyin pointed at the person next to her: "He won't let me in."

Wei Qiancheng looked at the receptionist with some resentment: "Don't you have any sense? You're new here, right? The pictures of the company's top executives are right there, and you don't even glance at them. President Su, you're trying to stop me."

The guy at the front desk looked at Su Yinyin blankly: "Su...Mr. Su."

Su Yinyin waved her hand. She hadn't been back to China for several years, so it was normal that she didn't recognize him.

Wei Qiancheng didn't waste any time talking to him. He grabbed Su Yinyin's hand and ran upstairs. "Yinyin, you came at the perfect time. I don't know who the hell reported me for abusing player points and transferring them to other systems. Now the auditors are here because of the noise."

"So you have any."

Wei Qiancheng was anxious: "Of course I have. Otherwise, why would I run away? If they find out that my dad has another group of people deported, I will be scolded to death."

Su Yinyin was speechless looking at the person next to her. It was quite pitiful that Wei Hao gave birth to such an unlucky son.

"How did you do that? The system you asked someone to build before is still working fine."

"Stop talking, damn it! That lunatic came into the system and, finding no designated minor achievement quests, he went crazy grinding them. He didn't even do the main storyline and even participated in the elementary school paper airplane competition. This caused other players' storylines to change, and the locked quests for big points couldn't be completed. As a result, our system has no 'high value' to collect and points can't be distributed. Several players are almost out of lifespan. That's why I thought of moving some in from other places."
