"You! Gu Qingqing, don't think you can bully me just because I'm your friend. If you dare say such things again, I'll break off all ties with you!" An Susu bit her lower lip, looking like she was ready to die.
"Let go of me! You're crazy!" Zhai Wan'er pushed An Susu away, not wanting to get involved in her conflict with Gu Qingqing.
“Miss Zhai, I…” An Susu looked hurt and her eyes were brimming with tears after being treated like this.
"Don't cry! I didn't bully you, and Gu Qingqing didn't bully me either. You misunderstood her. She grabbed me because she was afraid I would trip over the stone in front of me." Zhai Wan'er crossed her arms and looked at a stone not far away. It was so sharp. She had covered her eyes when she ran away. If she had tripped over this stone, she would have been badly injured.
"Huh?" An Susu was taken aback by the answer, feeling like she had become a clown, and a meddlesome clown at that.
"Qingqing, I...I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to."
"Hmph!" Gu Qingqing ignored An Susu's apology and turned to leave.
"Qingqing, I'm sorry, don't be angry, I really didn't mean it. Waaah..." An Susu spoke loudly, attracting the attention of many boys around her.
When they saw her crying, they all gathered around to comfort her.
"Hey! Gu Qingqing, you still haven't told me how you and Master Fu met. Stop! Tell me now!" As soon as Zhai Wan'er saw Gu Qingqing's departing figure, she belatedly realized why she had come to find her and quickly followed after her, leaving An Susu looking embarrassed.
