Fu Jue stared blankly at the potato chip in his mouth, forgetting to chew. His eyes were fixed on Gu Qingqing, and he hesitated whether to eat it or not.

She fed herself; it was the first time, their first time together.
He turned and sat down in the chair, head down, afraid she would see his strange behavior.
"Brother Fu, are you angry? I didn't mean to laugh at you just now." Gu Qingqing saw him sitting in the swivel chair for several seconds without saying a word to her, and thought he was angry with her.
"No, don't overthink it. Come on, eat something, the movie's about to start." Fu Jue saw her pouting, looking all wronged.
His heart suddenly clenched and ached. He couldn't stand her like this; he couldn't bear it whenever she looked pitiful.
He brought over a cup of popcorn, took out a kernel, and held it to her lips.

The two stared at each other, both stunned, remaining motionless. She was too foolish to let go of his mouth, and he didn't pull his finger out; neither of them moved an inch.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, Brother Fu..." Gu Qingqing let go of her mouth, her voice muffled, because there was a piece of popcorn in her mouth that she dared not spit out and did not have time to eat.
She wanted to apologize, but she was afraid he would get angry and stop talking to her.
