When he lifted the carriage curtain and saw the young emperor sitting inside, he wasn't too surprised.
"Your humble servant pays his respects to Your Majesty."
"Minister Fu, you may rise." Xie Jingrun put down the book he was reading and said calmly, "Please sit down."
Fu Rongchen sat down to the side.
"Do you know why I am waiting here?" Xie Jingrun asked.
"Your Majesty, I am foolish and ignorant, please enlighten me," Fu Rongchen said respectfully.
Xie Jingrun was silent for a moment, then suddenly said, "I have an irreconcilable hatred for Prince Xu. It's only a matter of time before he rebels."
Fu Rongchen said, "Does His Majesty believe that Prince Su's matter is inextricably linked to Prince Xu?"
