Fu Rongchen noticed that her face had suddenly flushed and asked in confusion, "Why is your face so red?"
Upon hearing this, Shangguan Yanran felt a little flustered and quickly raised her hand to wipe her forehead, saying, "It's so hot."
Fu Rongchen had no suspicions. Seeing that the sun was indeed quite strong today, he said, "Let's go." With that, he took the lead and walked forward.
Shangguan Yanran quickly followed.
Although Fu Rongchen looked thin, he had long legs, so for every one step she took, she had to take two.

Shopkeeper Xu shook his head, "Miss Yanran, you're too kind."
As they went up the stairs, Shangguan Yanran leaned close to Fu Rongchen and whispered, "You probably don't know who owns this restaurant, do you?"
Seeing the girl suddenly appear in front of him, Fu Rongchen paused for a moment and asked, "Whose is she?"
“This is Her Majesty the Empress’s private property,” Shangguan Yanran said, her voice even softer. “Don’t tell anyone.”
Fu Rongchen was naturally not that bored, but he wasn't too surprised to hear the answer.
He knew that she had a close personal relationship with the Empress, and he figured she must have eaten here quite often, judging from the manager's attitude towards her.
After going up to the private room on the second floor, and after Manager Xu left, Fu Rongchen took the teapot and poured a cup of tea for Shangguan Yanran.
Shangguan Yanran took it and drank it in small sips.
“Young Master Wang has homosexual tendencies and is not a good match for him.” Suddenly, Fu Rongchen’s voice rang out softly in the private room.
"Cough cough!" Upon hearing this, Shangguan Yanran couldn't help but choke on her tea, looking at him in astonishment, "What do you mean?"
Fu Rongchen noticed water stains on her chin, reached for a handkerchief, and was about to hand it over when he realized it was dirty. Shangguan Yanran put down her cup and suddenly asked with interest, "How did you know that Young Master Wang has homosexual tendencies?"
"I found out by chance." Compared to her excitement, Fu Rongchen seemed somewhat indifferent.
Shangguan Yanran pursed her lips, clearly dissatisfied with his answer, but she also knew his personality; he wasn't a talkative person, and it was already a great favor that he told her, so she didn't ask any more questions.
