"Your Majesty, the Empress is asleep inside," Xiao Tao replied.
Xie Jingrun stepped inside and found Rong Qingqing asleep. But when he saw her curled up on the soft couch, he was immediately annoyed.
Doesn't this girl know how to sleep in bed?
He walked over and picked her up in his arms.
Rong Qingqing immediately woke up, and upon seeing him, her expression turned sour. "So you've finally decided to come back? Where's your dear cousin?"
Xie Jingrun placed her on the bed, patting her bottom with some displeasure. "What kind of tone was that?" He paused, then raised an eyebrow. "Jealous already?"
"Eat my ass!" Rong Qingqing glared at him unhappily.
Upon hearing this, Xie Jingrun's expression darkened. He reached out and pulled her onto his lap, pinching the soft flesh around her waist. "What did you say?"
Rong Qingqing glanced at him listlessly, slid off his lap, and silently walked to the bathroom.
Xie Jingrun pursed her lips; how could she not know that she was still bothered by Old Madam Hua and Hua Yin?
He raised his hand and rubbed his temples, looking somewhat tired.
When Rong Qingqing came out, Xiao Tao and Xing Chun had already set the food on the table.
Xie Jingrun stood up, took her hand, and said, "Let's eat."
"Mmm." Rong Qingqing was led over by him.
During the meal, Xie Jingrun put food on her plate, saying, "Eat more."
