Xu Chaoci drank a few more sips of water without making a sound, quietly noting Shen Xingmian's behavior in his heart.

Shen Xingmian clenched her fist and pressed it to her lips, coughing.
He coughed twice, and Nan Li, who was beside him, asked with concern:

A smile flickered in the man's eyes, and then a glass of water appeared in front of him. Nan Zhi's voice followed immediately:
"You're coughing a lot, you should drink some water. The food here isn't suitable for you."
Shen Xingmian's lips twitched as she stared at the glass of water, unsure of how to react.
Xu Chaoci caught a glimpse of the change in Shen Xingmian's expression, and a slight smile appeared on his lips. He felt a sense of satisfaction watching Shen Xingmian's discomfiture.
