"How could you do this to me? I gave you my youth, and you just dismissed me with a simple 'no reason'."
Lian Chuchu's voice choked with sobs as she sadly lowered her head, tears streaming down her cheeks.
If it were the old Lin Feifan, he would definitely feel heartbroken.
But Lin Feifan felt no emotion whatsoever.
He frowned and said:
"Chuchu, I don't want to lie to you. I used to mistake you for the girl I liked, that's why I pursued you. Now, I've found her." Although, it's impossible for us to be together anymore.
Lian Chuchu suddenly widened her eyes, raised her head, and spoke almost in a trembling voice:
"Mistaken identity? Lin Feifan, is this how you dismiss me? Waaaaah... You say you mistook me for someone else, but what about me? Am I just destined to be mistaken for someone else and then abandoned by you? Who is that woman? Tell me!"
So, all along, Lin Feifan's kindness to her has belonged to someone else?
A look of surprise flashed in Lin Feifan's eyes, as if he hadn't expected Lian Chuchu to react so excitedly.
Up until now, he has not wanted to reveal what he knows about Lian Chuchu and Gu Ying, just to protect Lian Chuchu's self-esteem and face.
But Lian Chuchu, at this moment, seemed somewhat emboldened, wiping away her tears as she cried:
"You... Waaah... How could you do this to me?"
Lin Feifan could only say "I'm sorry" and nothing else.
"I'll take you home. Just tell me when you want to break off the engagement."
After saying that, he stepped on the gas, and the car slowly drove forward. Lian Chuchu, looking both indignant and aggrieved, spoke up:
"You park the car, I don't need you to take me."
As she spoke, Lian Chuchu reached out and patted the car window, "Hurry up, let me out of the car."
She was so emotional that Lin Feifan had to stop the car again when he saw that she had even unbuckled her seatbelt.

Lin Feifan saw her hail a taxi a short distance away, then get in and leave.

Lian Chuchu took a taxi directly to the Gu family's house.
When she arrived at the Gu family home, she called Gu Ying from the doorway, but it took a long time for the other end to answer.

“But I’m not home. Here’s what you do: go to Cuihuaxuan and wait for me. I’ll rush over.”
Tsui Wah Heen is a quaint restaurant located very close to the Gu family's home.
"I'm outside, it might take me a while to get here."
Lian Chuchu wiped away her tears and shook her head, saying:
"It's okay, I'll come and wait for you right away."
After hanging up the phone, Lian Chuchu walked towards Cuihua Pavilion, sobbing.
Gu Ying, meanwhile, was sitting in the Gu family's living room, having just put down her phone, with her hands resting on the edge of the sofa, leaning lazily against the backrest.
He exuded an air of languor, a cold smile playing on his lips, and a chill running through his eyes.
Leng Qian stood straight behind him, his gaze never wavering.
"We'll drive around the city for a bit, then go to Cuihuaxuan."
After a long silence, Gu Ying smiled and spoke.
Leng Qian nodded. "Okay."
Now, Gu Ying basically takes Leng Qian with her wherever she goes. This person is very useful; he's an all-rounder, and one person is worth several others.
After a while, Gu Ying stood up, with Leng Qian following closely behind him.
After driving around the city for an hour, it was already past that time.
The car stopped in front of Cuihuaxuan.
Gu Ying told Leng Qian to wait in the car, then opened the car door, got out, straightened her clothes, and walked towards Cuihua Pavilion.
When they arrived at the private room, Lian Chuchu had stopped crying, but her eyes were still red. The moment she saw Gu Ying, her tears started flowing again.
She stood up abruptly and rushed towards Gu Ying, calling out, "Brother Gu Ying!"
Just as she was about to rush into Gu Ying's arms, Gu Ying's eyes flashed, and she quickly turned her body to the side, dodging the attack.
He reached into his pocket, took out a handkerchief, and handed it to Lian Chuchu.
"Wipe away your tears, let's sit down and talk it over. If anyone bullies you, I'll stand up for you."
Lian Chuchu took it, raised the handkerchief to wipe the corner of her eyes, and didn't notice Gu Ying's deliberate avoidance.
Instead, she obediently walked to the table and sat down.
Gu Ying also sat in a spot a distance away from her, not too close and not too far, a very good balance.
Lian Chuchu then began to sob intermittently.
"Yes, it's Brother Feifan! He actually wants to... Waaah, he wants to break off our engagement! He even said he'd been mistaken for someone else all these years! How could he do this?"
