Nanzhi looked at him with a smile.
"Don't worry, they won't make things difficult for me as long as I like it. Just tell them the truth when they ask you anything."
Shen Xingmian nodded.
Nanzhi led him for a walk in the small courtyard.
When I got back, the food had already been served.
Upon seeing Nan Zhi and the other person return, Bai Yarou greeted them:
"Zhizhi, quickly help Xingmian get ready, I'll go call your brother down."
After saying that, he turned and walked upstairs.
Nan Zhi took Shen Xingmian's hand and went to the restaurant.
The round wooden dining table was already filled with various dishes.
It was even more lavish than the New Year's Eve dinner.
Nan Zhi and Shen Xingmian sat down, and soon Nan's parents and Nan Li arrived.
Everyone took their seats.
"Xingmian, don't be shy at home today. Eat more. Your aunt's cooking is excellent."
Shen Xingmian nodded.
During the meal, the Nan family didn't have many rules and would occasionally chat.
Nanzhi took good care of Shen Xingmian today.

"Xingmian, how did you and Zhizhi meet?"

Nan's father thought for a moment and asked:

Shen Xingmian paused, remained silent for a moment, and then raised her head. "It's been a year."
These are fairly standard questions.
Nanzhi's parents knew that this was the person she liked, so they naturally didn't say anything.
Soon, the meal was finished, and Bai Yarou and Nan's father went to the kitchen to clean up the dishes.
Nan Li then pulled Shen Xingmian to his bedroom, and it was unclear what they were doing.
Nanzhi was so bored that she started watching TV.
After Mom and Dad finished washing the dishes and came out, they noticed Shen Xingmian wasn't there and asked:
"Where is Xingmian?"
Nanzhi glanced at the bedroom upstairs. "Nanli seems to be asking him some questions."
