Ying Zheng looked at the mess before him, ignoring the maids who were still kneeling. He stared at Queen Mother Xia, who had stopped roaring, and said, "I heard that the Queen Mother wants to see me."
Queen Mother Xia looked at Ying Zheng, and her words of pleading for mercy vanished in an instant. She was unable to utter a single word, and could only mutter dryly, "I miss the emperor too much, that's why I said I wanted to see him."
After saying that, he laughed twice, but the laughter was creepy no matter how you listened to it.
"Now that I have seen him, Queen Mother, can you give Cheng Jiao to me?" Ying Zheng's expression was hidden under his crown, and his voice was exceptionally cold, much colder than when he was in court before.

"Don't be afraid, your brother is here, don't be afraid." Ying Zheng looked at Cheng Jiao who was crying again in his arms, and comforted him with a smile.
He glanced at the stunned Queen Mother Xia and said in a cold voice, "Your Majesty, please do not leave. Just stay here and apologize for your sins."
After saying that, he walked out without waiting for Queen Mother Xia's consent.
The roars, cries, and sounds of things being thrown were gone, leaving only silence.
