Duke Qin was so angry at this legitimate daughter that he was shaking. He clenched and unclenched his hands several times, but when he thought of the connection between her and the Queen, he finally gave in.

Gu Yanyue suddenly started talking incoherently in his sleep. Yuwen Ran was used to being a light sleeper, and the slightest noise would wake him up.

After getting Yuwen Ran's approval, Gu Yanyue walked out of the room and disappeared in a flash, leaving only the worried Yuwen Ran.
The moonlight was as bright as a thread, and the stars were scattered all over the sky. The originally clear night sky suddenly became dark after Gu Yanyue left the palace and came to the alley in her dream.
A beggar appeared out of nowhere and blocked Qin Ruoruo at the end of the alley. The sword in his hand shot out cold rays of light, making it impossible for people to look directly at him.
Seeing that the sword was about to hit Qin Ruoruo, Gu Yanyue shouted in desperation: "Stop!"
Hearing the voice, the beggar turned around and happened to meet Gu Yanyue's gaze. The murderous intent in his eyes almost burst out. He laughed and said, "I didn't expect someone to pass by at this time. It seems that you can't escape today."
Gu Yanyue was startled, realizing she had been reckless. She stretched her limbs and raised the corner of her lips slightly, "Who said that? It's still unclear whether you or I will die."
"Hahahaha!" The man seemed to have heard a great joke, "How dare a little girl like you speak so arrogantly here?"
Qin Ruoruo had calmed down the moment Gu Yanyue appeared. But when she saw the gangster suddenly rushing towards her, the sword in his hand still emitting a terrifying cold light, she shouted at Gu Yanyue: "Sister Gu! Go away! Leave me alone!"
Gu Yanyue glanced at Qin Ruoruo, gave her a look that said "don't worry", and then concentrated on dealing with the beggar in front of her.
She blocked the beggar's sword with one hand, and with the other hand, she clenched her fist and punched him in the face. Blood oozed from his face.
"Hiss..." The beggar took a breath in pain, and the sword in his hand fell to the ground with a crisp "clang" sound.
"Looking for death." The beggar grabbed Gu Yanyue's hand that had been blocking the knife and punched him back with a more powerful and fierce punch. Gu Yanyue was not at all panicked. He dodged to the side and raised his leg to hit the beggar's vitals. The beggar dodged with a quick move. Gu Yanyue took advantage of the situation and pulled him over his shoulder. With a perfect backflip, he threw the beggar to the ground.
The beggar was knocked to the ground by Gu Yanyue, and he saw stars and couldn't get up for a while. Gu Yanyue tore off her clothes without saying a word, handcuffed his hands behind his back, tied a knot, and tied him up obediently.
Qin Ruoruo was terrified. Seeing that the man had completely lost the ability to resist, she ran towards Gu Yanyue, holding up her dress, "Sister..."
Gu Yanyue gestured to her to calm down, then picked up the sword that the beggar had dropped on the ground, and walked forward with a smile, "Big brother, I will ask you a question. If you answer it well, I will consider letting you go. If you don't answer it well..." Gu Yanyue hesitated and turned his gaze to the beggar's crotch. The meaning in his eyes scared the beggar's body so much that he shook violently.

Gu Yanyue was still smiling, but the words she spoke reminded the beggar: "Then tell me, who sent you to assassinate the daughter of Duke Qin? You'd better think it through before you speak."

Gu Yanyue got the answer she wanted, and she wiped his neck cleanly and neatly. The beggar fell to the ground and struggled for a few times before becoming completely motionless.
