Chapter 13 The First Gossip

The guy was wearing a smoky grey suit, had a slicked-back haircut, and a cigarette dangling from his lips. He looked incredibly cool and uncool. He had the potential to be a scumbag.

The girl in front of him, wearing a puffy skirt and a bow in her hair, looked like a spoiled little princess. But now she had her head down, sobbing and wiping away tears.

"Brother Haoran, can we not be separated? I will be a good boy from now on. I won't let the media find out. I just missed you too much last time. Woo woo woo."

The boy took a long drag on his cigarette and put it out on the railing. "Tsk, I told you, my career is on the rise now, so I don't have that much time to spend with you. You miss me every day, so do I have to be with you every day?"

"No, I won't disturb you while you're working. I'll just watch you from a distance."

Li Xi was speechless at her exaggerated movements. She rolled her eyes silently, then slowly approached the squatting girl, gently patting her back and speaking softly.

"Little girl, what's wrong? Why are you crying so sadly? If you have any unhappiness, tell me and I will help you."

Su Yu, who was standing next to her, got goosebumps when he heard Li Xi's voice. Why did it sound so much like the wolf who abducted Little Red Riding Hood?

Li Xi didn't care what Su Yu thought. Her gossip radar told her that there must be something fishy about this girl, maybe an explosive scandal involving a scumbag and a bitch.

Li Xi became extremely excited when she thought of this, with her eyes shining.
