As for Lu Zifeng, apart from the fact that he disregards human ethics and loves his own sister, he is still a talented person.

Lu Wantang's gossips and hesitations always have different focuses. Sometimes he highlights his family's weakness, sometimes he hints at Su Yu's greed, and sometimes he wants to express his magnanimity.
Su Yu observed carefully. Depending on the direction she directed her energy, different people would jump out to lecture her. To be honest, if Su Yu hadn't been in the middle of this situation and was the target of Lu Wantang's attack, she would have applauded them. Lu Wantang's adaptability and the Lu family's understanding were all given full marks by Su Yu.
Fortunately, Su Yu doesn't care much about their opinions now, otherwise he would be mad at them one day, or he would be turned evil by them like in the original book.

Because Su Yu avoids him, Lu Zifeng's attitude towards her is less confrontational than in the original novel. He has some hostility towards her, but not much. At least he won't slap her without a word the moment Lu Wantang cries.
For now, as long as Su Yu doesn't take the initiative to provoke Lu Wantang, Lu Zifeng is unlikely to deliberately embarrass Su Yu.
As for the other members of the Lu family, there is even less to worry about.
Mr. and Mrs. Lu are very concerned about their reputation. As long as we put on a good show in public and maintain their face, everything will be fine.
Su Yu's younger brother Lu Xiaoran has never liked Lu Wantang's affectation, but instead likes Su Yu's frankness and straightforwardness. It can be said that the only kindness Su Yu feels in the Lu family comes from Lu Xiaoran.
