Li Youran was surprised that the emperor could shout with such a strong voice, and couldn't help but sigh in his heart that no man in this world could tolerate his wife cheating on him.
Just then, a docile and obedient concubine suddenly stretched out her hand and, as if by magic, pulled out a dagger from her hand and held it to the emperor's neck.
Immediately afterwards, Physician Ma drew a soft sword from his waist and dodged the guards who came to arrest him.
Li Youran swiftly rushed towards Consort Jiao and, before she could succeed, grabbed the Emperor.
Li Youran overestimated her abilities. She thought she could escape after pulling the emperor away, but she didn't expect the concubine to be so skilled. She simply took a dagger and swung it at her.
Li Youran had no time to dodge; she felt a sharp pain in her left chest and then her vision went black as she fainted.
Before she lost consciousness, she heard Tang Lei's roar, but she no longer had the strength to respond.
"Second Prince's Consort, please don't worry too much. Although the princess is unconscious, she has not suffered any vital injuries and will wake up in a few days."
As Feng Heng spoke, he began to write the prescription.
