Today is the day for talent shows across the country, and although night has fallen, the outside world is bustling with activity. Even the night market is much more lively than usual.

However, most people mistook Hua Ruyu for a handsome young man, and Li Youran for his young wife. They all sighed, lamenting how such a good young man had become paralyzed at such a young age, and how fortunate he had a young and beautiful wife to take care of him.
"My wife, you've suffered so much."
Hua Ruyu didn't care about these words. Instead, she turned to look at Li Youran, gently patted Li Youran's hand that was supporting the wheelchair, and said.
Li Youran was left speechless, shaking her head in resignation, and pushed Hua Ruyu deeper into the crowd.
When it comes to snacks in Beijing, the variety is much richer than elsewhere. There are fewer locals in Beijing than people from other parts of China, who not only live and work here but also bring their own local delicacies with them.
Hua Ruyu and Li Youran enjoyed spicy food, so they found a Sichuan restaurant and sat down.
"Gentlemen, your pea and minced meat noodles are here."
Hua Ruyu had a huge appetite, so a bowl of mixed noodles was definitely not enough to fill her stomach. Li Youran went to buy some kebabs and a few guokui (a type of flatbread), thinking that if they couldn't finish them, they could take them with them.
"Young Master Xia, I never expected to run into you here."
Li Youran heard someone calling her name and turned around to find Xia Xiao instead.
She was quite surprised that a wealthy young master like Xia Xiao would patronize such a food stall.
"Miss Li, it's been a long time since we last met."
Xia Xiao was even more surprised than Li Youran, and said to Li Youran with slight excitement.
However, in the darkness of the night, Li Youran did not notice the flush on Xia Xiao's face caused by excitement.

Xia Xiao wanted to reach out and touch it, but after her fingers twitched, she forcibly pressed them down.
"I recently went to the Sichuan Basin. The food there is much more abundant than here, and the people there like to eat spicy food."
As Xia Xiao spoke, she gently pursed her lips, as if recalling those flavors again.
"My friend and I ordered a bowl of mixed noodles at the pea and minced meat noodle stall up ahead. If it's convenient for you, Young Master Xia, you can join us for a bowl of mixed noodles there. It's quite delicious."
Li Youran took the grilled skewers from the owner and looked up at Xia Xiao.
She never expected that this seemingly otherworldly man was actually a little glutton.
