"Who dares to touch him!" A clear voice suddenly rang out. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw that Mu Xue had somehow moved to the front of the group, holding a gleaming dagger in her hand, her gaze firmly fixed on Zhao Kui. Seeing this, the team members behind her also raised their weapons, their fighting spirit rekindled in their eyes.
Seeing this, Zhao Kui's face turned extremely ugly. He hadn't expected that even at this point, Ning Yu's team would still be so united. He snorted coldly and was about to order an attack when Ning Yu waved his hand, signaling him to step back.

He opened a metal box in his hand. Inside were not food or weapons, but some crystals shimmering with a strange light, and several blueprints. "This is the new energy source I've found. With it, we can build a new home, a home that is not threatened by any force!"
The team members stared at the crystals, their eyes filled with surprise and curiosity. Ning Yu continued, "I know Zhao Kui has also made empty promises to you, but don't forget how he treats his own people! He only uses you as cannon fodder, as tools to satisfy his personal desires!"
At this point, Ning Yu's voice carried a hint of anger, "And I will lead you to survive! I will keep my promise, and as long as we work together, we will definitely be able to rebuild our homes on this wasteland!"
Those team members who had wavered listened to Ning Yu's words and looked into his eyes, their doubts gradually dissipating. They remembered their initial reasons for joining Ning Yu's team, and the various difficulties Ning Yu had led them to overcome. In the end, they chose to believe in him.
“We believe in you!” one of the team members stepped forward and said firmly.

"Want to leave? Not so easy!" A cold glint flashed in Ning Yu's eyes. "I gave you a chance, but you didn't cherish it, so don't blame me..." His words stopped abruptly, but the killing intent in his tone sent chills down the spines of everyone present.
Before Zhao Kui and his group had gone far, Ning Yu's team members had already given chase like tigers descending a mountain. They were all filled with righteous indignation; yesterday's betrayal and humiliation would be washed away with blood today.
"Xue'er, you lead a team to flank them from the side and cut off their retreat." Ning Yu calmly commanded, his gaze sharp as a blade. "The rest of you, follow me in a frontal assault and finish them off quickly!"
"Yes!" Mu Xue accepted the order and led a group of people, quickly disappearing into the night. She knew that this was Ning Yu's trust in her, and also her chance to prove herself.
Ning Yu led the remaining team members in pursuit of Zhao Kui in the direction he had fled. They advanced with unstoppable momentum and soon caught up with Zhao Kui's rear guard.
"Kill!" Ning Yu charged forward, his Tang sword flashing like lightning, instantly reaping several lives. His teammates behind him were equally fierce, each displaying their best skills in a desperate battle against the enemy.
However, things didn't go as smoothly as Ning Yu had imagined. After breaking through several lines of defense, they discovered a massive steel fortress ahead. The fortress was equipped with heavy weaponry, its firepower terrifying.
"Damn it, they were prepared!" Ning Yu cursed under his breath, a sense of foreboding rising in his heart.
As expected, Zhao Kui's voice came from inside the fortress, full of smugness and mockery: "Ning Yu, you didn't expect this, did you? I've been waiting for you here all along! I advise you to surrender obediently, lest you die in vain!"
"You? You think you're worthy!" Ning Yu sneered. He knew that today's battle would be extremely difficult, but he would never back down.
The battle was about to begin, and Ning Yu led his team in a valiant fight, weaving through a hail of bullets. He constantly inspired his team, and he himself took the lead, charging into the fray.
"Brothers, for our homeland, for our future, let's fight!"
However, the old forces' defenses were too strong, and casualties in Ning Yu's squad began to rise. Watching his comrades fall one by one, Ning Yu's heart bled, but he knew this was not the time for grief; he had to lead the remaining members to survive!
Just then, a team member covered in blood stumbled to Ning Yu's side and, with his last ounce of strength, said, "Captain, something terrible has happened... They... They..."
"Captain, something bad has happened... They... They..." The team member coughed up blood, his hand trembling as he pointed behind the fortress. He died before he could finish speaking.
Ning Yu's heart sank. He looked in the direction his teammate was pointing and saw thick smoke billowing and flames shooting into the sky behind the fortress. In the dim light, he seemed to see some familiar figures struggling and calling for help in the sea of fire.
