Chapter 129 Trapped in a Desperate Situation, A Chance for Survival

Everyone fell silent. They knew that going back now would be pointless, and could only silently pray that Mu Xue would return safely.

Just then, one of the team members suddenly pointed ahead and exclaimed, "What's that?"

Following the direction he pointed, everyone saw a massive circular array appear not far ahead. This array emitted a faint, eerie light, seemingly distorting the surrounding air. A powerful energy fluctuation emanated from the array, sending chills down their spines.

What is this?

"Could it be a trap?"

What should we do?

The team members were discussing amongst themselves, their faces showing unease.

Ning Yu frowned, a sense of foreboding rising within him. He slowly raised his hand, gesturing for everyone to step back, then cautiously approached the mysterious array alone… Ning Yu signaled for everyone to remain calm, while he slowly drew near to the array that emitted an eerie glow. The array's energy fluctuations grew increasingly intense, the distorted air seeming to devour everything. A strong sense of unease gripped Ning Yu's heart like an invisible hand.

"Captain, be careful!" came the worried shouts of his teammates from behind, but Ning Yu had no time to pay attention to anything else. He took a deep breath and mobilized the few remaining supernatural abilities within him, trying to probe the mysteries of the formation.

"Captain!" everyone exclaimed, rushing forward to catch Ning Yu.

Ning Yu felt his blood surging within him, and a mouthful of blood rose to his throat, which he forcibly swallowed back. He clutched his chest, his face pale, and large beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, clearly indicating that he had suffered a serious internal injury.

“This formation…is strange…” Ning Yu said through gritted teeth, his voice weak.

Just then, a figure swiftly rushed to Ning Yu's side and caught his swaying body.

"How are you? Don't scare me!" Mu Xue's anxious voice rang in my ears, with a slight, almost imperceptible tremor.

It turned out that after escaping the swarm of winged bats, Mu Xue had been chasing after Ning Yu and the others without stopping, and finally met them here. However, upon seeing Ning Yu injured, she was immediately filled with anxiety.

Ning Yu shook his head, indicating that he was fine. He took a deep breath, suppressing the surging blood within him, and said to Mu Xue, "This formation is too strange; my abilities can't detect it. We need to think of another way..."

Before he could finish speaking, Mu Xue's expression changed, and she suddenly pulled him back.

"careful!"
