Chapter 131 The predicament is finally broken, and hope is rekindled.

"Everyone, concentrate your firepower, attack with light!" Ning Yu's command ignited a torch in everyone's hearts. The atmosphere of despair vanished, replaced by a desire to survive and a fighting spirit.

The fire-wielding team members took the lead, transforming their flames into roaring fire dragons that charged towards the shadowy figures. Other team members with light-attribute abilities also joined the fray, their dazzling light piercing the darkness like sharp swords, forcing the previously menacing shadowy figures back into corners where the light could not reach.

"Now's the time!" Ning Yu shouted. He keenly sensed a slight fluctuation in the energy of the array binding them, which was the best opportunity for them to break through the array. He raised his right hand, a dazzling light gathering in his palm, a sign that he had pushed his own supernatural power to its limit.

"Everyone, transfer your energy to me!" Ning Yu's voice was exceptionally clear amidst the chaotic battlefield. Without hesitation, the team members channeled their supernatural abilities into Ning Yu, trusting each other and placing their hopes in their leader.

Ning Yu's body was bathed in light, like a war god. He felt an unprecedented surge of power coursing through his body, and the surrounding space trembled slightly from this force. He slammed the light in his hand into the core of the formation, and the dazzling light instantly engulfed the entire space.

When the light faded, the formation that had trapped them disappeared, replaced by a dark and deep path leading into the depths.

"We succeeded?" a team member murmured, his eyes filled with disbelief.

Ning Yu didn't speak, but took a deep breath, looked firmly at the unknown road, and said in a deep voice, "Let's go, our goal is still ahead."

Following Ning Yu's footsteps, the group embarked on this unknown path, their hearts rekindled with hope. However, a strange unease began to creep in...

After the formation dissipated, a scorching smell filled the air—the traces left by the collision of energy. Ning Yu stood at the very front of the group; the light in his hand had vanished, but his eyes remained sharp as blades, fixed intently on the deep, dark road ahead.

"Everyone be careful, this road might not be so simple," Ning Yu warned in a low voice, his tone tinged with seriousness.

The team members nodded and gripped their weapons tightly; they were ready to face any challenge.

The procession began to move forward slowly, each step taken with extreme caution. Ancient and mysterious patterns were carved on the walls on both sides of the road, appearing eerie and unpredictable in the dim light.

"Snap!"

With a soft sound, a member walking in the middle of the group suddenly screamed as his ankle was pierced by a sharp spike, and blood instantly stained the ground.

"Watch out for the trap!" Ning Yu reacted quickly, grabbing another teammate beside him and narrowly avoiding a burst of flame that shot out from the wall.

The team was thrown into chaos. Spikes, flames, falling rocks, and all sorts of deadly traps came one after another, leaving no room for defense. Although the team members tried their best to dodge, some were still unfortunately injured.

"Damn it, what kind of place is this!" one of the team members cursed, his arm burned by the flames, the intense pain making him pale.

"Conserve your energy, don't panic!" Ning Yu shouted. His voice was like a stabilizing force in the chaotic team, gradually calming the members down.

While directing his team to avoid the traps, he carefully observed the surrounding environment, trying to find a way to break through these mechanisms.

"Ning Yu, look!" Mu Xue, who had been following Ning Yu, suddenly pointed ahead and said, "What's that?"

Ning Yu followed Mu Xue's gaze and saw a huge stone gate at the end of the road. The stone gate was carved with intricate patterns and exuded an ancient and mysterious aura.

"It seems our destination is right there." Ning Yu took a deep breath, a glint of light flashing in his eyes. "Everyone, give it your all and try to get through this area as quickly as possible!"

However, just as they were about to reach the stone gate, an accident occurred. While dodging a suddenly appearing fire trap, Mu Xue accidentally twisted her ankle, letting out a muffled groan, staggered, and almost fell to the ground.

"Mu Xue, how are you?" Ning Yu asked with concern as he rushed forward to support her.

"I'm fine, I just twisted it, it's nothing serious." Mu Xue shook her head, enduring the sharp pain in her ankle. She didn't want to drag the whole team down because of her.

"Let me help you walk," a team member said, stepping forward when he saw the situation.

"No need, I can manage." Mu Xue refused her teammate's offer. She gritted her teeth and tried to stand up, but the intense pain made her gasp.

"Don't be stubborn, let me carry you." Ning Yu said, and without further ado, he picked up Mu Xue and continued walking towards the stone gate.

Looking at the towering stone gate ahead, a complex expression flashed in Ning Yu's eyes. He sensed that an even more severe test awaited them, and this test might have only just begun...

"Hiss..." Mu Xue gasped, fine beads of sweat forming on her forehead. She bit her lower lip to stifle a sound, but the sharp pain in her ankle still made her vision blur for a moment.

"Can you still hold on?" Ning Yu slowed his pace, looking down at Mu Xue on his back, his voice tinged with worry. He could feel Mu Xue's body trembling slightly from the pain.
