After the blinding white light, Ning Yu felt dizzy. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a familiar ruin. Broken walls, dust, and a nauseating smell of burning filled the air. This was the place where the Overlord had self-destructed.
"We're back?" Ning Yu looked around, a feeling he couldn't quite describe welling up inside him.
“Yes, we’re back.” Mu Xue’s voice rang out beside him, her tone tinged with both emotion and resolve. “It’s time to put an end to this.”
Ning Yu turned to look at Mu Xue, and saw that her beautiful eyes were shining with a firm light, and her whole body was exuding a sharp aura.
"It seems you've made up your mind." Ning Yu smiled slightly and gripped his weapon tightly.
"Of course." Mu Xue's lips curled into a confident smile. "We are warriors who have survived countless life-or-death trials. A mere Overlord cannot stop our determination to rebuild our homeland!"
No sooner had the words left his mouth than a furious roar came from not far away: "You ants! How dare you ruin my plans!"
Ning Yu, Mu Xue, and the others looked in the direction of the sound and saw a huge black figure slowly rising from the ruins. Although the Overlord's body looked somewhat illusory, clearly having consumed a lot of energy in its previous self-destruction, the pressure it exuded was still terrifying.
"You...you've become so powerful?!" The Overlord's crimson eyes stared intently at Ning Yu and the others, his voice filled with disbelief. "This is impossible!"
"Nothing is impossible." Ning Yu sneered. "Do you really think you can control everything?"
"You're courting death!" the Overlord roared, launching another attack. It swung its massive arm, unleashing a black beam of energy that shot towards Ning Yu and the others like lightning.
Faced with the Dominator's attack, Ning Yu showed no panic. He slowly raised his right hand...
Ning Yu showed no sign of panic. He slowly raised his right hand, and a dazzling white light gradually condensed in his palm, radiating a heat as intense as the sun. The next second, the white light transformed into a shield of light, steadily blocking the black energy beam.
"What?!" Upon seeing this, the Overlord's crimson eyes flashed with astonishment. Clearly, it had not expected Ning Yu to neutralize its attack so easily.
"Your era is over," Ning Yu said in a deep voice, his tone carrying an undeniable authority.
Mu Xue and her teammates launched a counterattack at this moment. Mu Xue's figure flashed, turning into a blur, and she instantly appeared behind the Overlord. The sharp dagger in her hand drew streaks of cold light, aiming straight for the Overlord's vitals. The other team members also displayed their supernatural abilities, unleashing a barrage of attacks like a storm, surrounding the Overlord.
Caught off guard by this sudden attack, the Overlord roared madly, waving its massive arms in an attempt to repel its enemy. It unleashed a variety of powerful skills: black energy beams, massive energy shockwaves, and even a black hole capable of swallowing everything… However, Ning Yu and his companions coordinated perfectly, advancing and retreating strategically, and repeatedly withstood the Overlord's attacks.
Ning Yu always stood at the very front of the group. The white light in his hand sometimes transformed into an indestructible shield to block the Dominator's fatal attacks; at other times, it transformed into an incomparably sharp blade of light, leaving deep, bone-revealing wounds on the Dominator's body.
The battle raged on, the Overlord's energy dwindling, and its attacks growing increasingly fierce. It began to act recklessly, frantically attacking everything around it, seemingly intent on destroying everything in its path.
Just then, Ning Yu suddenly noticed that every time the Overlord unleashed its ultimate move, a faint black light would flicker on its chest. Although this black light was very faint, it did not escape Ning Yu's sharp eyes.
"Could it be..." Ning Yu's heart stirred, and a bold idea arose spontaneously. He stared intently at the black light on the Overlord's chest, his mind racing as he analyzed the situation.
"Everyone, listen to my command!" Ning Yu suddenly shouted, "Concentrate your attacks on its chest!"
Hearing Ning Yu's command, the team members, though puzzled, carried it out without hesitation. Blazing flames, sharp ice blades, raging lightning… a barrage of supernatural attacks rained down on the Overlord's chest.
The Overlord clearly sensed the danger. It roared, crossed its arms to protect its chest, and released rings of black energy barriers in an attempt to withstand Ning Yu and the others' attacks. However, under Ning Yu's precise command, the team's attacks were as fierce and orderly as a storm. They skillfully utilized their respective abilities, cooperating and covering for each other, launching wave after wave of attacks without any pause.
Flames scorched the black energy barrier, emitting a sizzling sound; ice blades struck the energy barrier, stirring up bursts of shattered ice shards; lightning struck the energy barrier, exploding into dazzling bolts of lightning... The Dominator's defensive barrier teetered on the brink of collapse under the combined attack of the group, and was on the verge of being completely destroyed.
"Hold on! Its defenses are about to collapse!" Ning Yu shouted, while the white light in his hand grew even brighter, and a powerful energy surge was gathering within him.
The Overlord roared in fury, desperately trying to gather energy to maintain its defense, but the attacks from Ning Yu and the others were simply too fierce, making it impossible for it to concentrate. As time passed, the Overlord's aura became increasingly chaotic, and its movements began to slow down.
"Now!" Ning Yu seized the opportunity and shouted.
Mu Xue understood immediately, appearing behind the Overlord like a ghost. Her dagger flashed like a cold light, aiming straight for the Overlord's back. Sensing the threat behind him, the Overlord whirled around and threw a punch, trying to force Mu Xue back.
