As the smoke and dust gradually dissipated, the scene inside was revealed.
Ning Yu stood unharmed before the giant python, though his face was somewhat pale. The once-arrogant python lay motionless on the ground, a horrifying bloody hole appearing on its massive head, from which blood gushed, staining the surrounding earth red.
Ning Yu looked at the giant python lying on the ground and let out a long sigh of relief. He turned around and gave Mu Xue a reassuring smile: "I'm alright..."
However, before he could finish speaking, his smile froze on his face. He felt the faint power within him begin to stir restlessly, like a wild horse breaking free of its reins, becoming increasingly difficult to control…
“This power…” Ning Yu frowned, a hint of unease flashing in his eyes, “It seems…”
At the same time, the giant python let out a painful roar and actually stood up unsteadily. Its enormous, lantern-like eyes stared intently at Ning Yu, as if to say, "How dare you hurt me!"
Ning Yu was shocked. This giant python's vitality was so tenacious! He immediately realized that although the attack had severely injured the python, it had not truly killed it.

The giant python roared again, its massive body pressing down on Ning Yu like a small mountain. Ning Yu tried to dodge, but found his body as if bound by an invisible force, unable to move at all.
"Damn it!" Ning Yu cursed inwardly. He knew that his only hope now was to control the restless power within his body.
He concentrated, trying to sense the presence of that power, attempting to guide and control it. However, this power was like a mischievous sprite, running rampant within Ning Yu's body, completely disobeying his commands.
The giant python drew closer, its stench almost hitting Ning Yu's face. Ning Yu could even feel the chilling aura emanating from the python's sharp fangs.
"Am I really going to die here today?" A sense of despair rose in Ning Yu's heart, but he did not give up and continued to try his best to control that power.
The giant python opened its blood-red maw and bit down hard on Ning Yu...
Seeing this, Mu Xue closed her eyes in despair, terrified that she would see Ning Yu crushed by the giant python in the next second. But she immediately opened her eyes again, hoping to see a miracle happen... "I know you're there, I know you possess immense power! We need you, this world needs you! Please, help me!" Ning Yu cried out in his heart, his voice hoarse and resolute.
His forehead was covered in sweat, and his body trembled slightly from the exertion, but he still stared intently into the python's eyes, his gaze filled with determination and unyielding spirit.
Time seemed to stand still; Mu Xue could only hear her own rapid heartbeat and the giant python's heavy breathing. The giant python also seemed intimidated by Ning Yu's gaze, its attack halting for a second.
At this critical moment, Ning Yu felt the restless power within his body seem to have calmed down, as if responding to his call.
"Can you hear me? Please, respond to me!" Ning Yu repeated these words in his heart over and over again, his tone pleading.
Suddenly, a warm power spread from Ning Yu's heart to his limbs and bones. Ning Yu felt an unprecedentedly powerful force surging within him, as if it were about to break free of some kind of shackles.
"Now!" Ning Yu was overjoyed. He knew his chance had come!
However, the giant python had grown impatient; it was tired of the weak human's resistance. It decided to finish the fight quickly and swallow this arrogant human whole.

It suddenly opened its blood-red maw, a foul stench assaulting its senses, and charged towards Ning Yu. Ning Yu couldn't dodge in time and was sent flying by the giant python's massive body, crashing heavily to the ground. A metallic taste rose in his throat, and he spat out a mouthful of blood. The faint power that had been surging within him nearly dissipated under the violent impact, leaving only a faint trace.
"Ning Yu!" Mu Xue exclaimed from afar, her heart feeling as if it were being gripped tightly by an invisible hand, but she was powerless to do anything and could only watch helplessly as everything unfolded before her eyes.
Ning Yu lay on the ground, feeling as if all the bones in his body had been broken. The excruciating pain made his vision blur. He gasped for breath, trying to get up, but found he didn't even have the strength to lift a hand.
He knew he couldn't give up; he still had things he needed to do, and people he wanted to protect. He tried to ignore the pain in his body, focused his mind, and tried again to capture that power that seemed "connected to him yet elusive."
Seeing Ning Yu fall to the ground, the giant python let out a deafening roar, seemingly celebrating its victory. It slowly crawled towards Ning Yu, its scarlet tongue flickering in and out, its cold, vertical pupils flashing with cruelty and mockery, as if enjoying the feast that was about to begin.
"Ning Yu... how are you?" Mu Xue's voice came from afar, trembling and sobbing.
