Ning Yu did not give up; he continued to try to communicate with the giant bear. He conveyed their current predicament and their need for help to the giant bear again and again.
Suddenly, the giant bear let out a deep roar, which shook the surrounding trees. Mu Xue took a step back in fright and grabbed Ning Yu's arm tightly.
Ning Yu, however, felt no fear. He sensed no malice in the giant bear's roar; rather, it seemed like a response. He continued to concentrate, trying to understand what the giant bear was trying to convey.
The giant bear roared again, this time softer, as if asking a question. Ning Yu's heart skipped a beat; he sensed that the giant bear was asking him what kind of help they needed.
Ning Yu immediately relayed to the giant bear the information that they needed to escape the pursuit and find a safe place.
The giant bear listened quietly, its massive body motionless, as if deep in thought.
A moment later, the giant bear roared again, this time deeper and more powerful. It slowly turned around and walked in one direction.
"What...what does it mean?" Mu Xue asked, puzzled.
Ning Yu watched the giant bear's departing figure, a glint of light flashing in his eyes. "It's leading the way," he said in a deep voice, "follow it."
Ning Yu took Mu Xue's hand and walked towards the giant bear. The giant bear walked slowly ahead, occasionally looking back at them, as if urging them to keep up.
They followed the giant bear for a long time, the surrounding environment becoming increasingly unfamiliar and desolate. As darkness fell, everything around them was shrouded in gloom.
Suddenly, the giant bear stopped, turned around, looked at Ning Yu and Mu Xue, and let out a low roar.
"What...what is it going to do?" Mu Xue asked nervously.
Ning Yu looked at the giant bear, and a bad premonition suddenly welled up in his heart. He sensed that the giant bear's eyes had changed, becoming cold and fierce.
The giant bear slowly opened its blood-red maw, revealing sharp fangs, and let out a deafening roar... "Run!"
