With a deafening roar, the valley trembled.
Dust billowed, and gravel flew everywhere. Protected by the giant bear's massive body, Ning Yu escaped the attack from above. Still shaken, he looked up to see a huge, mutated vulture circling overhead, emitting a sharp, piercing cry. The attack had been launched by this vulture.
"That beast, he actually dared to come back!" Mu Xue said through gritted teeth, a sharp dagger appearing in her hand at some point.
The giant bear roared to the sky, its deafening roar echoing through the valley, scaring the vulture away. It pointed again at the patterns on the stone with its claws, then at Ning Yu and the sky, its eyes filled with anxiety.
Ning Yu's doubts deepened. Why was this giant bear so fixated on these stones and the sky? Could there really be some secret hidden within them? He gripped the dagger in his hand tightly. The patterns on the dagger and the patterns on the stones complemented each other, emitting faint energy fluctuations.
“Ning Yu, this bear seems to be trying to tell you something,” Mu Xue said, looking at the giant bear’s anxious expression. “It saved us, so it shouldn’t be an enemy.”

Ning Yu shook his head; he didn't recognize the characters either. He tried touching the patterns with his hands, and a strange energy flowed into his body through his fingertips, making him feel full of power.
“These stones… seem to contain some kind of energy,” Ning Yu said in surprise. “I feel my superpowers have increased.”
Mu Xue also tried touching the patterns on the stone, and she too felt a surge of energy flowing into it. "Indeed, my abilities have also increased," she said. "Where exactly is this place? And what are these stones?"
