"Now!" Ning Yu was overjoyed. He concentrated all his energy, guiding the cool aura slowly towards the violent power...
“Ning Yu, you…” Mu Xue stared wide-eyed in horror as she saw Ning Yu’s body begin to tremble violently, a powerful energy fluctuation emanating from him, stronger than ever before…
The cool air, like sweet rain, nourished Ning Yu's parched will. The violent power gradually subsided and finally dissipated. Ning Yu's body stopped trembling, and his tense muscles relaxed. He slowly opened his eyes, his gaze clear, as if he had undergone a baptism.
"Ning Yu! How are you?" Mu Xue asked anxiously when she saw that Ning Yu had returned to normal. She reached out to touch him, but was afraid of disturbing him.
Ning Yu turned to look at Mu Xue, smiled slightly, and indicated that he was alright. He tried moving his hands and feet and found that the weakness caused by the backlash of power had disappeared, replaced by an unprecedentedly powerful force surging within him.
"I'm fine now." Ning Yu stood up, dusted himself off, and looked around. The mutated rat swarm that had attacked them was nowhere to be seen, leaving only corpses and the pungent smell of blood.
"Where are those mutated rats?" Mu Xue looked around and asked in confusion.
"They must have been scared away by the power fluctuations I just experienced," Ning Yu said calmly. He vaguely sensed that although the backlash from this power was dangerous, it also gave him a deeper understanding of his own power.
Suddenly, alarm bells rang in Ning Yu's mind. He looked up sharply into the distance, his expression becoming more serious than ever before.
"What's wrong?" Mu Xue noticed Ning Yu's unusual behavior and followed his gaze, but found nothing.
"We must leave here immediately!" Ning Yu didn't have time to explain. He grabbed Mu Xue's hand and ran away from the energy fluctuations.
"What exactly happened?" Mu Xue asked anxiously as she ran alongside Ning Yu.
Ning Yu didn't answer, because he didn't know how to explain it. He could only feel a powerful suction force pulling them away, and the source of that suction force was the energy fluctuation he had felt earlier...
"What is that?" Mu Xue exclaimed, pointing to a huge vortex that appeared in the distant sky, her voice filled with fear.
