Just as Ning Yu was about to touch the metal door, an invisible force suddenly appeared! A semi-transparent energy barrier rose from the ground, standing between him and the metal door, ruthlessly blocking him from entering.
Ning Yu's heart sank. He knew the real test had only just begun. He took a deep breath, concentrated all his strength in his right hand, and slowly pressed it against the energy barrier…
"Break!" "Break!" Ning Yu roared, releasing all his energy without reservation. He seemed to transform into a wounded lone wolf, letting out a final howl in his desperate situation. Blue arcs of electricity leaped around him, colliding violently with the translucent energy barrier, producing a piercing sizzling sound.
Time ticked by, and Ning Yu was completely exhausted, but he gritted his teeth and persevered. Large beads of sweat mixed with blood slid down his face. He knew he had no way out; only by fighting with all his might could he possibly grasp at the last glimmer of hope.
Finally, under Ning Yu's almost frenzied attacks, the seemingly indestructible energy barrier began to tremble violently. Cracks appeared on the surface of the barrier, spreading rapidly like a spider web, before finally shattering with a roar, turning into specks of starlight and dissipating into the air.
Ning Yu's eyes lit up. Ignoring his exhaustion, he stepped through the massive metal door.
In an instant, a powerful sense of oppression washed over him, as if an invisible mountain was pressing down on his heart. He tried to breathe, but the air felt incredibly heavy, as if it were filled with lead. He looked up and around, finding the environment quite peculiar, filled with crystals that shimmered with strange light, creating a dreamlike scene.
"Where is this place..." Ning Yu muttered to himself, about to take a step forward, when suddenly he heard an ethereal voice in his ear: "Welcome to..."
