The scarred man's roar, like that of a wild beast, pushed the already crazed bandits into an even deeper abyss. They surged towards Ning Yu and the defensive fortifications behind him like a black torrent.
"Leader! There are too many enemies, we can't hold on much longer!" A soldier covered in blood staggered to Ning Yu's side and shouted anxiously.
Ning Yu remained silent, his gaze sharpening, his movements becoming increasingly ruthless. Each punch and kick claimed an enemy's life. Yet, the enemies, like an endless swarm of ants, continued to pounce relentlessly despite their heavy losses.
"Boom!" A shell exploded at the edge of the fortification, blasting a huge hole in the sturdy reinforced concrete structure. Several soldiers who couldn't get out of the way were thrown into the air by the shockwave and crashed heavily to the ground, their fate unknown.
"Damn it!" Ning Yu's eyes were bloodshot. He knew that the fortifications were their last line of defense. Once they were breached, they would be completely exposed to enemy fire, and the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Brothers, hold them off!" Ning Yu roared, his figure transforming into a bolt of lightning once more as he rushed towards the breach in the defensive fortifications, using his own body to block the enemy's frenzied attack.
"Leader!" Seeing Ning Yu fighting so desperately, all the soldiers' eyes turned red. They mustered their last bit of courage and fought back against the enemy's attack with all their might.
However, human strength has its limits. Under the enemy's relentless onslaught, the fortifications were teetering on the brink of collapse. Ning Yu watched as familiar faces fell before his eyes, his anger and grief almost consuming him.
"Enough!" Ning Yu abruptly raised his head, his eyes bloodshot. A powerful surge of energy erupted from his body, blasting away all the surrounding enemies. He clenched his fists, feeling the surging of that mysterious power within him. He knew it was time to settle things once and for all…
Ning Yu roared and charged into the enemy ranks like a tiger descending a mountain. His fists moved like the wind, each swing creating a gust of wind that knocked nearby enemies to the ground. His body seemed to transform into a blur, weaving freely through the enemy ranks, each appearance claiming several lives. The enemy was caught off guard by his sudden burst of power, and for a moment, no one could stop him.
"Damn it! This kid's weird!" Scarface shouted angrily, seeing the situation was turning bad. "All of you, attack! Attack together! I don't believe he can stop so many of us by himself!"
As soon as he finished speaking, several burly bandits rushed out from the crowd. They were armed with sharp blades and had fierce eyes; they were clearly the scarred man's elite men. They surrounded Ning Yu, and the air was thick with the glint of swords and the palpable killing intent. Ning Yu dared not be careless. He concentrated his mind, pushing the mysterious power within him to its limit, and engaged in a fierce battle with the powerful men.
In an instant, swords flashed and blood flew everywhere. Ning Yu fought against multiple opponents, barely managing to hold on thanks to his immense strength and agile movements, but his enemies grew stronger with each battle, showing no sign of retreating.
With a muffled thud, Ning Yu was kicked in the chest by a thug, his body flying backward and crashing heavily to the ground. He struggled to get up, but found a sharp pain in his chest, and a mouthful of blood welled up in his throat, which he swallowed hard.
"leader!"
"Boss!"
The surrounding soldiers gasped in shock when they saw Ning Yu injured. They tried to rush to his aid, but were held tightly by the enemy and unable to break free.
Ning Yu wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes growing even sharper. He watched as familiar faces fell before his eyes, his heart filled with anger and grief. He knew that if he didn't fight desperately, everyone would die here!
"Ah!" Ning Yu roared, charging at the enemy once more. He abandoned defense, concentrating all his strength on attack, each punch and kick carrying a deadly intent. The enemy was startled by his reckless fighting style, and for a moment was forced to retreat.
However, his good fortune didn't last long. Although Ning Yu was brave, he couldn't fight off so many opponents. Under the relentless attacks, his strength and energy were rapidly depleting. His body was covered with wounds of all sizes, and his clothes were stained with blood.
"Bang!" Ning Yu was struck again by a bandit, staggering and nearly falling. He felt his strength gradually waning; he knew he couldn't continue like this. He began to observe the enemy's attack patterns, discovering that although they were powerful, their coordinated attacks had some minor weaknesses…
The scarred man looked at Ning Yu, a cruel smile creeping across his face: "Kid, you're at your wit's end! Surrender obediently!"
"Just surrender obediently!" the scarred man grinned maliciously, as if victory was just around the corner.
Ning Yu was panting heavily, blood dripping from his forehead, blurring his vision, but there was no fear in his eyes, only an even more determined light. He stared intently at the enemy before him, replaying their previous attacks in his mind, searching for that slightest opening.
He knew he had no way out; only by going all out could he possibly fight his way out!
"Now!" Ning Yu thought to himself, seizing the gap in the enemy's attack, he moved his feet and his figure passed through the flashing swords of several bandits like a ghost.
"He's charging! Stop him!" Several elite thugs beside the scarred man also noticed Ning Yu's intention and brandished their weapons, trying to block Ning Yu's advance.
However, Ning Yu was now resigned to certain death. He concentrated all his strength into a single point, moving at incredible speed, giving his enemy no chance to react. He was like an arrow released from a bow, unstoppable!
