"Captain, watch out!" a team member exclaimed as a grenade shot out from around the corner, heading straight for Ning Yu. Without even looking up, Ning Yu waved his hand, and an invisible barrier appeared out of thin air, blocking the grenade. The flash of the explosion illuminated his cold profile, making his gaze appear even more piercing and focused.
"Damn it, this combination lock's algorithm is too complex, it seems to combine multiple encryption methods..." Ning Yu frowned, his fingers flying across the microcomputer, lines of code cascading down like a waterfall. He had to race against time, or the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Captain, look!" a team member exclaimed, pointing at the computer screen. "This string of code... looks like..."
Ning Yu's heart skipped a beat, and he immediately leaned closer to the screen. He saw a familiar string of characters in the code, which was the encryption identifier commonly used by the "Sky Curtain" organization!
"It really was them!" A cold glint flashed in Ning Yu's eyes. He should have realized it sooner. Since the "Sky Curtain" organization had established a base here, they would never give up easily. This self-destruct program was likely a backup plan they had left behind. Once the base was breached, the program would be activated, reducing everything to nothing.
"But why would they destroy this base themselves?" a team member asked, puzzled. "Is there some secret behind this?"
Ning Yu pondered for a moment, then his gaze fell on the computer screen again. This time, he noticed a special set of code. This set of code was hidden very well, and if he hadn't been proficient in various programming languages, he wouldn't have been able to find it at all.
"What is this?" Ning Yu's heart stirred, and he tried to decipher the code. As he delved deeper into the deciphering, his expression grew increasingly solemn.
"This is bad!" Ning Yu suddenly stood up, his face extremely grim. "This isn't a simple self-destruct program. This code... is used to send a signal!"
"Send a signal?" The team members looked at each other, puzzled. "To whom?"
“The ‘Sky Curtain’ organization!” Ning Yu said through gritted teeth, “They want to…”
At this point, Ning Yu suddenly stopped, because he no longer had time to explain. The countdown on the computer screen had only five minutes left, and he hadn't yet breached the final layer of security on the combination lock.
"Damn it, is it really all going to fail?" Ning Yu was extremely anxious, but he knew that he couldn't afford to lose his composure, especially in situations like this. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down, and his gaze fell on the combination lock again, his mind racing as he searched for the key to crack it.
Time ticked by, and the countdown on the digital display grew shorter and shorter: 4:59…4:58…4:57… The shadow of death loomed over everyone's hearts, and the atmosphere became extremely oppressive.
Ning Yu's forehead was covered in sweat, but he dared not relax for a moment. His fingers flew across the keyboard, and lines of code emerged like bamboo shoots after a spring rain, racing against time and battling against death.
“3……2……1……” The countdown entered its final countdown phase, and everyone’s hearts were in their throats, their eyes fixed on Ning Yu’s hands, as if they were their last hope.
A determined light gleamed in Ning Yu's eyes. At the last moment, his finger pressed the Enter key, and a line of code pierced the core of the combination lock like a sharp sword...
