The violent energy swept around like a hurricane, and amidst the flying sand and stones, Ning Yu's figure became a blur, weaving through the enemy's attacks. The energy fluctuations in his hand were like an invisible blade, each swing bringing with it a violent energy explosion.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The continuous explosions were deafening. Ning Yu, as if possessed by a war god, forced the enemies back time and time again with his powerful energy fluctuations. The leading man's face was gloomy. He hadn't expected Ning Yu to have been hiding his strength; this powerful force far exceeded their expectations.
"We can't delay any longer, let's finish this quickly!" the man roared, conjuring a dazzling ball of energy in his hand and hurling it fiercely at Ning Yu.
Ning Yu's eyes narrowed, and instead of retreating, he charged forward to meet the energy ball. He clasped his hands together, and the violent energy gathered in his palms into an even more dazzling energy ball, which he then thrust out forcefully.
"boom!"
The two energy spheres collided violently, unleashing a deafening roar that leveled everything in their vicinity. Taking advantage of the explosion's cover, Ning Yu flashed forward like lightning, dashing towards a dense forest not far away.
"Chase him! Don't let him get away!" the man roared, leading the other four in hot pursuit.
Ning Yu weaved through the dense forest, knowing he had to shake off their pursuit as quickly as possible; otherwise, the consequences of being entangled would be unimaginable. Using his familiarity with the terrain and his agile movements, he constantly changed direction, leaving his enemies far behind.
Finally, he found a secluded cave and hid inside. He sat cross-legged, regulating the surging energy within his body, and at the same time took out the document.
Time was of the essence; he had to decipher the document's secrets and find the mastermind behind it all as soon as possible. He took a deep breath, focused his mind, and began attempting to crack the document's password.
Time ticked by, and fine beads of sweat appeared on Ning Yu's forehead. Just as he was about to give up, the file suddenly made a soft click, and the locked program was finally unlocked.
Ning Yu eagerly opened the file, and lines of shocking text came into view.
“It’s…it’s him…” Ning Yu’s hand holding the document trembled slightly, his eyes filled with shock and anger.
The document's contents were simple, yet they struck Ning Yu like a bolt from the blue, leaving him utterly stunned. It turned out that this was all a conspiracy orchestrated by a group of superhumans who were jealous of his extraordinary talent!
“I should have known…” Ning Yu said through gritted teeth, his eyes flashing with a cold light, “You will pay the price for this!”
He abruptly stood up, clutching the document tightly in his hand, turned and walked out of the cave, heading towards a cluster of buildings in the distance. There, it was…
Ning Yu stepped out of the cave, the biting wind whistling against his face like knives. He tightened his coat, his eyes burning with rage. The contents of the documents were etched into his mind like a brand; the conspiracies, schemes, and ruthlessness of those people made him want to tear them to pieces.
He walked quickly toward the camp. Along the way, he recalled what he had been through recently: being inexplicably ostracized, slandered, and repeatedly encountering "accidents" during training. It turned out that none of this was accidental, but that someone was deliberately targeting him behind the scenes!
“This group…” Ning Yu’s eyes flashed with cold light. He clenched his fists and secretly vowed to make these people pay the price!
Inside the camp, Dr. Zhao was busy in the laboratory, the various instruments humming. Ever since Ning Yu was injured during his last training session, he had been researching how to help Ning Yu recover his superpowers. Suddenly, the laboratory door was pushed open, and Ning Yu walked in, looking travel-worn.
"Ning Yu, you're back!" Dr. Zhao's face lit up with surprise when he saw Ning Yu. "How's your injury?"
"I'm fine." Ning Yu shook his head, walked straight to Dr. Zhao, and handed him the documents in his hand. "Dr. Zhao, please take a look at this."
Dr. Zhao took the document with a puzzled look and began to carefully read through it. As line after line of text came into view, his expression grew increasingly serious, and his brows furrowed more and more tightly.
"This...this..." Dr. Zhao looked up at Ning Yu in disbelief. "How could this be?"
“It’s true,” Ning Yu said coldly. “This group spread rumors, suppressed my abilities, and even set traps in my training grounds in order to suppress me. They simply want to destroy me!”
"That's outrageous!" At this moment, Brother Wu also arrived after hearing the commotion. Upon hearing Ning Yu's words, he was immediately enraged. "How could they treat you like this! You were protecting everyone..."
“Brother Wu, Dr. Zhao, I have found out the truth of the matter.” Ning Yu interrupted Brother Wu. “Now I need your help to expose the true face of this group and get justice for me!”
Dr. Zhao and Brother Wu exchanged a glance, their eyes blazing with fury. They knew Ning Yu all too well; this young man was upright and kind, willing to do anything to protect everyone, yet he was being treated so viciously—how could they possibly tolerate it?
“Ning Yu, don’t worry…” Dr. Zhao took a deep breath and said with a firm look in his eyes, “We will definitely help you get justice!”
Dr. Zhao slammed his hand on the table, the data on the documents seeming to leap with his anger. "Outrageous! How dare they be so audacious, treating human life like dirt!" The usually mild-mannered Dr. Zhao could no longer contain his anger, his eyes behind his glasses flashing with fury.
Brother Wu was so angry that his face turned red. He waved his fists and said angrily, "I've never trusted these hypocritical guys! Ning Yu, don't worry, although I, Wu Laosan, am not very capable, I will definitely get back at you!"
