Chapter 103 The little book's surname is Ning, not Chen.

This time, Ning Wan pushed Aman away with just a little force.

She blinked her sore eyes and walked up to Ning Yanshu: "Little Shu, are you hungry? How about Mommy cooks for you?"

Ning Yanshu ignored Ning Wan's question and insisted, "Are you two arguing?"

Ning Wan choked up.

She replied, "No, we weren't arguing. Aman found his family, and we're happy for him."

Ning Yanshu tilted his head slightly, wanting to look at Aman.

He stood there with his back to me, head bowed and motionless.

The bright incandescent light fell behind him, casting an indistinct silhouette of his profile.

Ning Yanshu couldn't see Aman's expression clearly.

But he didn't look happy at all.

Ning Yanshu tugged at Ning Wan's sleeve, asking somewhat uneasily, "Is Aman leaving?"

"Um."

Ning Yanshu lowered his head and said dejectedly, "Is it really time to leave..."

Even though she and Aman often competed for his affections on ordinary days.

But when Ning Yanshu learned that Aman was leaving, he still felt a thousand times reluctant to part with her.

But he remembered his mother saying that Aman had his own family. After being missing for so long and finally finding his home, Aman must want to go home too.

If it were him, having not seen his mother for so long, he would have already hidden under the covers and cried secretly.

He should be happy for Aman.

Thinking this, Ning Yanshu rubbed his eyes hard.

He smiled again, full of anticipation: "After Aman goes home, will he be able to come back to see us?"

Ning Wan couldn't answer that question...

...

In the evening, after a quick wash, Ning Wan retreated to her room.

Throughout the entire ordeal, Aman never said anything to try and persuade him to stay.

Late at night, Ning Yanshu secretly got out of bed.

He went to Aman's bedside, lifted the blanket, and got on top of her.

Then she quietly lay down next to Aman, wanting to feel the warmth of her "father" one last time.

Aman's body was warm.

It's warm even in the cold winter.

Ning Yanshu couldn't resist secretly kissing Aman on the cheek.

The beard is a bit prickly, and it doesn't feel as soft and cuddly as Mom's when I kiss it.

He didn't smell nice; he only smelled of sweat.

But this time, Ning Yanshu sincerely hoped in his heart: "If only you really were my father."...

...

The next morning.

Ning Wan was awakened by knocking on the door from outside.

When she got up, she found that Ning Yanshu was not in bed. Even the alarm clock on the bedside table had been turned off at some point.

It was already 8:10 a.m.

There was no one in the living room.

Aman's small bed was folded up and put away in a corner.

The knocking continued. Ning Wan scratched her head wearily and went to open the door.

The person standing at the door is Ning You.

She hugged Lu Anning and squeezed into the room without any ceremony: "What time is it? Why aren't you up yet?"

The disdain in her tone made it seem as if she had completely forgotten that before her child was born, she was someone who slept until noon.

"Why are you here? Didn't Lu Chen see you?"

Although she was already a month pregnant, Lu Chen insisted that she should stay in confinement for a full 60 days.

Lu Chen rarely had time to sneak out, except for very important work that required him to leave.

Not to mention taking the child out openly like today.

“He took Aman and Xiaoshu to kindergarten, he won’t be back so soon.” Ning You shoved Lu Anning into Ning Wan’s arms, lay down on the sofa, and quickly turned on the TV.

Lu Chen is too long-winded.

During postpartum confinement, women are not allowed to watch TV or use their mobile phones.

All I bought her was a tape recorder so she could listen to radio music. I called it "cultivating her mind."

Holy shit! ...

...

"You mean, Aman went to find Lu Chen?"

Ning You laughed a few times at the variety show on TV, then replied, "Yeah. Aman came over early this morning and told Lu Chen what happened."

A commercial break was playing on TV, and Ning You, unusually, put down the remote and asked with concern, "Are you sure you're not mistaken? Is Aman really Shen Fu? The Shen Fu from the Shenhao Group?"

Ning Wan nodded and sat down on the other side of the sofa: "Don't you know him?"

Ning You sat up cross-legged, arms crossed over her chest: "In my past life, I was married to Lu Chen for many years, but I was paralyzed in bed most of the time and hardly ever went out. Let alone know anyone, so I never met Chen Fu."

"I've heard Lu Chen mention it a few times. But judging from his tone, the two of them don't seem to get along very well..."

The sound gradually faded.

Realizing something, Ning You's eyes widened: "So, Lu Chen, he..."

Ning Wan nodded heavily.

"You bastard!!!"

...

On the other side.

Unaware that he was facing an unprecedented crisis of trust in front of the Ning sisters, Lu Chen unconsciously sneezed—

"Ah Qiu!"

Aman hugged Ning Yanshu and hid away.

Ning Yanshu peeked out and asked with concern, "Uncle, are you sick? It's getting cold, take care of yourself, and don't catch a cold!"

Lu Chen hadn't even had a chance to thank Ning Yanshu for his concern.

Then he slowly said, "Otherwise, you should move out of the house. It wouldn't be good if An'an got infected."

Lu Chen was speechless: "You're going to be late for school."

...

After 30 minutes of ranting, Ning You finally came to her senses.
