Ning Yanshu arrived at the entrance hall.
He put on his shoes and went out on his own, not forgetting to take the plastic Ultraman with him when he left.
057 asked curiously, "Little Book, where are you going?"
Ning Yanshu ignored it.
The hallway was dimly lit.
The motion sensor lights that Shen Fu and Lu Chen installed together also malfunctioned and no one was able to repair them.
Ning Yanshu slowly walked down the dark stairwell, following the handrail.
057 followed behind him, anxiously saying, "Have you forgotten why you were kidnapped last time? It's getting dark soon, a good boy shouldn't run around, we need to go home quickly!"
It's almost driven crazy with worry!!!
What if something else happens?
Unfortunately, it can't contact anyone right now, and it can't leave Ning Yanshu to go find Song Mengwan.
They could only watch helplessly as they continued to follow.
After leaving home, Ning Yanshu first drove around the neighborhood for a long time.
He sat quietly for a while in the busiest park in the neighborhood.
It was evening, and many people had finished dinner and were taking a walk with their families.
Ning Yanshu's gaze remained fixed on the corner of the park, unable to look away.
There, a young couple was with a child who was about one year old.
The father held the child's small hand in his large one, carefully teaching him to toddle. The mother stood opposite the child, clapping her hands to attract his attention.
The child wobbled and moved somewhat clumsily.
But with each step he took, he was greeted with cheers and applause from his parents.
Finally, he walked towards his mother with a smile and threw himself into her arms.
Dad couldn't resist coming over and kissing him on the cheek, praising him repeatedly, "Our baby is so great! Mom and Dad are so proud of you!"
Looking at Ning Yanshu's small figure, 057 couldn't help but ask with some worry: "Little Shu, are you alright?"
Ning Yanshu did not answer.
He jumped off the stone bench and patted his bottom.
He picked up the Ultraman figure again and walked out of the neighborhood...
...
Sunset.
A small cart cast a long shadow as it passed along the street.
The warm yellow streetlights flickered, warming up the night for the fireworks.
The street scenes along the way were extremely lively.
The crisp sound of bicycle bells and the incessant shouts of vendors filled the air.
The steamer baskets in the food cart were filled with aroma, and wisps of smoke rose and swirled upwards.
Under the streetlights, it had a somewhat ethereal, misty quality.
In this bustling yet mundane marketplace, Ning Yanshu, alone and clutching an Ultraman toy, appeared exceptionally lonely.
057 doesn't know where Ning Yanshu's destination is.
Unwilling to leave, it could only silently follow behind him.
She added, "Xiaoshu, let's go back. If Mom wakes up and can't see you, she'll worry... You don't want Mom to worry, right?"
They thought bringing up Ning Wan would persuade him, but to their surprise, Ning Yanshu continued to stride forward with determination.
He walked through the market, walked to the entrance of the boxed rice shop, paused for a few seconds, and then continued forward.
He continued until he reached the small river where Grandma Chen had saved him when he was kidnapped.
Ning Yanshu then found a spot and sat down by the riverbank.
The afterglow of the setting sun spilled onto the river, casting a layer of shimmering gold.
The river reflects the distant mountains and scenery, creating a breathtaking view.
A gentle breeze blew by, creating ripples that looked like strands of gold foil spread across the surface.
Ning Yanshu gazed quietly at the river until the last rays of the setting sun disappeared into the horizon.
The river, which was originally as beautiful as an emerald, suddenly became dark and terrifying.
"Little Shu was not happy at all before."
After a long silence, Ning Yanshu finally spoke: "I have never had a father since I was born. My mother doesn't love me and always scolds and beats me for no reason."
The family of three I just saw.
That look of happiness was something Ning Yanshu wouldn't even dare to dream of.
"She said I was a born bad seed, that people like me should die. No one would love me, and no one would need me..."
057 couldn't bear to listen anymore: "That's not how it is..."
"Xiao Shu doesn't understand what I did wrong, but Xiao Shu isn't a bad child..."
Ning Yanshu looked down at the plastic Ultraman in her arms: "Later, Xiaoshu found it..."
He found it in the trash can.
The toy wasn't broken, it was just a little dirty, so someone threw it away.
When I first brought it back, she complained that it was trash.
Ning Yanshu washed it again and again before finally agreeing, with a hint of impatience, to let it stay with her.
Even though his mother later changed for the better and bought him lots and lots of Ultraman toys, in Ning Yanshu's heart, it remained a unique and irreplaceable presence.
“I made a wish to my grandfather in heaven, hoping that one day I could have a hero dad like Ultraman and a gentle mom like the one in my dreams… Although Xiaoshu knew it was impossible, one day, Mom and Dad really appeared…” Ning Yanshu couldn’t help but cry, “Xiaoshu has Mom and Dad now!”
He had a wonderfully happy dream.
But now the dream is over, and it should all end...
...
However, he was still somewhat unwilling: "Are all villains necessarily bad people?"
Ning Yanshu's question left 057 stunned on the spot.
"Geely, Deban, and Obik in Ultraman Tiga are all good monsters, so why do they have to be destroyed?"
