Gu An'an looked up at him upon hearing this, her expression conveying, "Go ahead and hit me, I'll watch you hit me."
The man never imagined that he would not be driven to a dead end by the 100,000 troops of Xiyong, but would now be caught in a dilemma by such a young woman.
"You weren't going to hit me? You were just lying to me."
Gu An'an twisted her body to try to break free, but Jiang Yong'an wouldn't let her.

"Jiang Yong'an, you're a scoundrel."
"Am I a thing or not?" the man chuckled. "You clearly said it was a three-year agreement, and I wouldn't come to see you until things were settled within three years."
But even though she knew that Bai Mu was testing her, she still agreed without hesitation.
He thought he wouldn't go to the county town, but would just come to Jiangjia Village to inquire about it.
Just spend one night in this little courtyard where she used to live.
But to everyone's surprise, Gu An'an also happened to return.

"Sleep with me for a while." The man knelt in front of the bed, holding her hand, and said, "Just lie down with me for a little while, okay?"
Does this "sleep" refer to the simple act of sleeping?
Gu An'an hesitated for a moment, "You can't lay a hand on me."
"No, I swear, if I make a move, may I suffer the consequences..."
Gu An'an covered his mouth, "Don't talk nonsense. Anyway, if you dare to do anything reckless, I'll make you regret what you did today."
She moved over a bit, making room for Jiang Yong'an on half of the bed.
The bed had been made, and there wasn't much dust on it.
Clearly, Jiang Yong'an plans to sleep here tonight.
When this thought came to mind, Gu An'an looked at the man lying flat beside her with some doubt.
Jiang Yong'an looks quite different from his two older brothers. He has a handsome face with striking eyebrows and bright eyes.

Gu An'an couldn't understand it, and she muttered to herself.
Jiang Yong'an laughed when he heard this, "But you didn't reject me, a man with four children, did you?"
"That's because I'm blind," Gu An'an muttered, though she was actually conflicted.
It would be a lie to say I don't like Jiang Yong'an.
Humans are visual creatures after all. How could you remain unmoved when such a handsome man is standing right in front of you?
In addition, Gu An'an was grateful to Jiang Yong'an for saving her time and time again.
Furthermore, Jiang Yong'an is different from most men; he is very respectful and even promised her that he would marry into her family in the future.
This point alone was enough for Gu An'an to overlook some problems.
For example, Jiang Yong'an has four children.
"can I ask you something?"
"Dead."
Upon hearing this, Gu An'an turned her head and, half-supported by her body, looked at Jiang Yong'an, "Mingyi and the others' mothers are all dead?"
Only after asking the question did Gu An'an realize that Jiang Yong'an had already guessed what she wanted to ask.
