Not long after Gu An'an went to the yamen, the shop welcomed another uninvited guest.
"May I ask if the shopkeeper is in?"

This startled Jiang Yongshan, and a hint of panic appeared on his face. "What do you mean by that, sir? Gu An'an's shop is unclean and she found a scorpion in her food. How can you blame it on me?"
The magistrate's laughter grew even colder upon hearing this. "Is that so?"
"Yes, that's right."
"Gu An'an, what do you have to say?"
Jiang Yongshan quickly turned around and saw Gu An'an stepping in, followed by a tall young man. He felt even more flustered.
Did they fail to handle the task assigned to Li Laosan properly?
"Sir, may I ask him a few questions?"
The county magistrate nodded in agreement. His yamen had been quiet for a long time, and it was rare to see some liveliness. He was happy to be a bystander for the time being.
"Jiang Yongshan, you just said that the food at my Gu Ji restaurant was unclean and contained scorpions. How did you know that?"
Jiang Yongshan was stunned when he heard this. "You, your matter caused quite a stir, everyone knows about it."
"Really?" Gu An'an laughed. "What just happened has already reached your home in less than the time it takes to brew a cup of tea?"
Jiang Yongshan stiffened his neck. "Yeah, so what?"
“Sir, I can testify that this man has been at home the whole time, and no one told him about the incident at Gu An’an’s shop.”
Jiang Yongshan's expression changed drastically upon hearing Jiang's sister-in-law's sudden arrival. "What do you want to do?"

He was a person who valued discipline the most, so naturally there had to be some rules in the government office.
Jiang Yongshan's face was deathly pale, and large beads of sweat dripped down his face.
