Chapter 152 There is a secret

"There's no way." Wangcai replied.

After a while, Meng Zhiyu was arranged to a three-person ward and lay on the bed receiving an IV drip. It was now past four in the morning.

"Listen, Sister Man, you and Brother Mu and Brother Zhou San should go to the guesthouse to rest. You can come and pick me up tomorrow morning."

Li Tingman and the other two disagreed. "We are worried about you being alone, and it's not convenient for them to be alone. I'll stay here with you."

Mu Ziwei and Zhou Songbai also said that there was no need to worry about them, they could take care of themselves.

Meng Zhiyu watched the two leave the ward, then raised the hand that had been injected and moved to the side of the bed. "Listen, Sister Man, we'll each take half."

Li Tingman did not refuse this time. She lay on the bed and adjusted the angle to ensure that she could see the situation as soon as she raised her eyes. "You go to sleep, I'll watch over you."

His body wasn't itchy anymore, but Meng Zhiyu didn't feel sleepy, so he let Li Tingman sleep first and call her if there was anything.

By the time the two bottles of IV drip were finished, it was already bright outside. The bumps on Meng Zhiyu's body had healed a lot. To be on the safe side, she needed to stay in the hospital for a day for observation before leaving.

After eating the breakfast bought by Mu Ziwei and Zhou Songbai, seeing the dark circles under their eyes, he let them go home and rest.

Meng Zhiyu and Li Tingman went to the toilet together. Meng Zhiyu came out early and stood at the toilet door waiting.

"Knowing fish?"

Meng Zhiyu turned around and saw that it was Zheng's mother. She smiled and called out, "Aunt Zheng."

"It's really you. What's wrong with you? Where do you feel uncomfortable?" Zheng's mother was sure it was Meng Zhiyu and was a little surprised. But when she saw the hospital gown she was wearing, she was filled with worry.

Meng Zhiyu briefly explained his situation. Mother Zheng felt relieved when she heard that it wasn't a serious problem. "That's good. That's good."

This allergy problem can be serious or minor, and if not handled properly it can be life-threatening.

After Li Tingman came out, Meng Zhiyu introduced the two. After the three of them talked for a while, Zheng's mother said before leaving, "Rou Rou, I haven't seen you for a long time. I was still thinking about you at home yesterday."

"I didn't come to the county town because of the busy farming season a few days ago."

Zheng's mother also knew that it was not easy for her to be an educated youth, so she just asked Rourou to come and play with her in the afternoon.

"How did you get to know Aunt Zheng?" Li Tingman was a little curious. From the way they talked, they didn't sound like relatives. Thinking about Meng Zhiyu's poor health before, she guessed that it might be a doctor-patient relationship.

Meng Zhiyu told her about how she helped Zheng Rourou in the cafeteria.

The two returned to the ward and took half of the bed each. They slept for the whole morning. When Meng Zhiyu got enough sleep and got up from the bed, she was suddenly met with a concerned face with a smile, which scared her as she was still not awake.

"Hey, Zhiyu, you're awake. Are you hungry? Auntie made something delicious for you. Go wash your hands and have dinner."

Zhou's mother noticed that Li Tingman was still asleep, so she took Meng Zhiyu's hand and said with a smile.

"Why are you here, Auntie?" Meng looked around the ward. Apart from the other two patients and their families, Zhou's mother was the only one there.

"It was your brother Zhou San who brought me here on his bike."

When Meng Zhiyu came back from washing up, Li Tingman also woke up and was talking to Zhou's mother.

"Tingman, go wash up and come back for dinner." Mother Zhou said jealously. She placed a bowl of fragrant chicken soup in front of Meng Zhiyu and gave her a large chicken drumstick. "Zhiyu, eat quickly."

Looking at the thick chicken leg in my hand and smelling the charming aroma of meat, I couldn't help but wonder, would Aunt Zhou slaughter the old hen at home again?

As if she knew what she was thinking, Zhou's mother carefully poured another bowl of chicken soup and said, "We don't have hens this big at home. Your brother Zhou San specially went to the restaurant to buy this."

As for how her son was sold, she didn't ask. As a mother, how could she not know that her third son had a secret?

The extra meat and food in the house, as well as the supplements she brought back for Zhou's father and her, were all noticed by not only her but also Zhou's father. However, they were in sync and never asked about it.

They continued as the son was filial. As for where the money came from, the son would naturally tell them when he wanted to. If you want to ask, do you suspect that your third son did anything bad?

That's bullshit. As I said before, her son knows what's going on. Although her third son is a little lazy when working in the fields, he will never do anything that violates discipline.
