Chapter 119 Just who are you?

When Lin Wanwan returned to her dorm with her things, everyone in the dorm was there.

Zheng Yan and Zhang Lin immediately surrounded her. Zheng Yan rushed over to help her, asking anxiously, "Are you alright? Why were you discharged from the hospital? Don't you need to rest more?"

Lin Wanwan sat in the chair and looked at the two of them, saying, "It's alright, don't worry. I'm so grateful that you caught me today, otherwise I don't know if I would have been able to keep the baby if I had fallen."

Zhang Lin said with lingering fear, "You have no idea, seeing you faint almost scared me to death. You're too carefree, daring to go back to school."

Lin Wanwan was amused by her exaggerated expression. "School isn't some kind of place that eats people, why would I dare to go back? The doctor said I just have low blood sugar, it's nothing."

As Lin Wan spoke, she opened the thermos, "Come and eat! My mother-in-law brought lots of food, these little soup dumplings are delicious!" She then turned to the other three and said, "You guys come too."

Zhou Chuying was the first to run over, "I thought you'd forgotten me. I want to eat mini soup dumplings."

Lin Wanwan smiled and handed it to her, "How could I forget you? Eat up, eat up, these little soup dumplings are delicious. If you like them, I'll have my mother-in-law send some more next time."

Zheng Yan ate one small soup dumpling after another, saying, "They're so delicious! Your mother-in-law is so good to you, even bringing you food."

“Yes, my mother-in-law is super nice,” Lin Wanwan said, picking up a small soup dumpling and eating it. “It’s so delicious, you should try some too.”

Zhou Mei snorted coldly, "Who cares? Wen Nuan, let's go, let's eat in the cafeteria."

Watching the two of them leave, Zheng Yan muttered to herself, "Zhou Mei is too much. You kindly offered her food, and what was her attitude like? And Wen Nuan too, her mother is weird enough, but why is she like this too?"

Zhang Lin looked at Lin Wanwan with a troubled expression and said, "The day you fainted, I saw her rushing to find the counselor. The two of them whispered to each other for a long time. I saw the counselor run away in a panic. I hope something happened between them."

Lin Wanwan laughed and said, "You noticed that?"

“I originally went to talk to my counselor about my household registration, but I just happened to run into her,” Zhang Lin said hesitantly. “Could it be that she went to the counselor to gossip about me?”

“It’s her,” Lin Wanwan said, as if she had known all along. “But it doesn’t matter. I don’t care about such little tricks. I’m here to learn, not to deal with these convoluted schemes all the time.”

Zhang Lin breathed a sigh of relief. "So you knew! It really was her. I thought I misheard. She looks so gentle and kind. I never expected her to do something like this."

"That's right, her mother was even more bizarre that day," Zheng Yan originally didn't want to say, but after learning that Wen Nuan was up to no good, she directly recounted what happened that day.

Seeing that the three of them were getting more and more excited, Lin Wanwan immediately spoke up to stop them, "Alright, alright, stop talking. Go get some bowls and drink the soup. This is such a big bucket, I can't finish it all by myself. You guys help me share some of it."

Zhou Chuying and Zhang Lin both waved their hands in refusal, but Zheng Yan didn't stand on ceremony with her and said with a smile, "You two don't need to be so polite. She has a small appetite and can't eat this much at once. It will get cold and she won't be able to eat it with you two. If you really feel bad, the three of us can treat her to dinner tonight."

"Yes, yes, come help me quickly," Lin Wanwan divided a bowl for each person, and finished just enough. "If I had to eat this by myself, my stomach would burst. My mom probably brought me a whole pot of chicken soup."

Lin Wanwan finally had a chance to ask them, "Why did you all break up so early today? It's not even 4:30 yet."

Zheng Yan said while eating chicken, "It's all because of you. The instructor was scared to death by you. Luckily, you told the instructor from the beginning that the counselor wouldn't let you go back to the dormitory, and the instructor reported it to his superiors. Otherwise, the instructor would have been punished this time."

Zhang Lin nodded. "The instructors held an emergency meeting this afternoon, and training will continue tomorrow."

Zhou Chuying took a sip of soup, looking satisfied. "This soup is so delicious. By the way, the class monitor announced a class meeting tonight. Do you know what it's about?"

Lin Wanwan pointed to herself and asked, "Are you asking me? How would I know? I'm not a school leader."

"I thought you knew," Zhang Lin sighed.

"How would I know?" Lin Wanwan said, looking completely bewildered.

"Why don't you tell me who you are?" Zhou Chuying leaned closer and asked in a low voice.

“I heard that when you came to report for duty, your family had a car,” Zhang Lin said in a gossipy tone.

Zhou Chuying nodded in agreement, "Yes, yes, my family is in business, and my dad earns quite a bit, but we don't even own a car."

Zhang Lin said with a gossipy look, "I also heard that your brother took you to see Professor Qi on the day you registered. Professor Qi, he's the youngest professor in our school, only thirty-six years old. Do you know him?"

Lin Wanwan was speechless. "Where did you hear that? Why are people at school so gossipy?"

Zheng Yan also came over and asked, "Don't be shy with us, tell us what happened."

Lin Wanwan said with a look of utter despair, "What relationship could there be? Professor Qi is my brother's senior. My brother is taking me there to meet him so he can pay special attention to me and urge me to study. I don't even want to go. When I'm in his class, I won't even dare to skip class or slack off."

The three of them burst into laughter when they heard her say that. Zhang Lin couldn't resist teasing her, "That's great, your grades in your major courses will definitely be good in the future."

Lin Wanwan put her hands on her hips and deliberately put on a stern face, saying, "Alright, you three shut up, or I'll really lose my temper."

The three of them exchanged a glance and then burst into laughter. "Then go ahead and get angry, we won't be."

Lin Wanwan was so angry that she gritted her teeth. "Laugh, laugh, laugh, what's so funny?"
