Lin Wanwan was woken up by hunger. She looked at the watch on her pillow and saw that it was 11:30.
Lin Wanwan got up, and Lu Feng also woke up.
Are you hungry?
"Hmm, do you want to get up?"
Lu Feng didn't say anything, but sat up and kissed her.
"I'll have dinner with you."
Lin Wanwan was happy and cupped his face in her hands to return the kiss.
Just as they opened the door, they bumped into Tuanzi knocking on the door.
Lu Feng picked him up. "Where are we going?"
Tuanzi reached out to Lin Wanwan, "Mommy~~"
Lin Wanwan tried to reach out to take it, but Lu Feng wouldn't let go.
"Daddy, hug me!"
Tuanzi couldn't break free, so Lu Feng had to hold her.
She leaned on Lu Feng's shoulder and grinned foolishly at Lin Wanwan, her heart softening, and reached out to pinch his cheek.
"Tuanzi, do you love Mommy the most?"
Tuanzi nodded with a grin, "I like Mommy."
Lu Anyang walked over and reached out to take Tuanzi. It was hard to tell whether it was the blood ties or the reassuring feeling Lu Anyang gave off.
Lin Wanwan could sense that Tuanzi liked him very much.
The little girl, held in his arms, called out softly, "Uncle~"
Lu Anyang liked him too, and kissed his cheek.
Lin Wanwan felt abandoned and took Lu Feng's hand to go inside.
Seeing the three of them come in, Song Lanzhi said helplessly, "You three are finally awake. Are you hungry?"
"I'm hungry, Mom. When is dinner ready?"
Song Lanzhi poked her forehead, "You're hungry but don't know to get up and eat."
"Where are Yan Yan and the others?"
"He left this morning. Zijie said he was going to keep an eye on the renovations there and told you not to worry, he would take care of it."
Lin Wanwan nodded, "I understand. I won't go out recently. I'll focus on preparing for childbirth."
"I'm relieved to hear that. Just tell me and Auntie what you want to eat."
It was too hot, and Lin Wanwan didn't want to go out in the first place.
Bai Ying's admission letter arrived, and as expected, she was admitted to the Communication University of China.
Bai Ying hugged Lin Wanwan, crying and laughing at the same time.
"What are you doing? Do you want me to call a doctor? You're scaring me."
At the end of August, Lu Anyang went to Shenzhen with Zhou Ming.
Lin Wanwan has been feeling really down lately. Looking at the accounts the accountant has prepared, her mind is just racing.
"This is the accounting you've done?"
Lin Wanwan looked at the account book in front of her and was furious.
"What a mess! You call this an account book? Are you sure you've studied accounting?"
The accountant is a young woman in her early twenties, and she's been thoroughly humiliated by Lin Wanwan's scolding.
"Everyone does their accounting this way, so why isn't this acceptable?"
"Is this how you do accounting? The accounts are unclear, the money doesn't match up, is this how you describe accounting?"
Lin Wanwan felt so angry she felt like she was about to give birth.
"Get out of here right now and hand over all the accounts you have. Come back tomorrow to take over."
"So what if it's a handover? What makes you so special?"
Lin Wanwan was so angry she almost fainted.
A short while later, the junior accountant brought the ledger.
Lin Wanwan looked at the messy ledgers and was furious.
Call Ren Zijie and ask him to call Zhang Hong over.
Zhang Hong now manages two stores, each with a junior store manager, all of whom are under Zhang Hong's supervision.
Zhang Hong is growing rapidly, but she still lacks experience. Lin Wanwan goes over to train the shop assistants from time to time, and Zhang Hong often follows Ren Zijie around when she has nothing to do.
Lin Wanwan required her to be involved in everything—the factory, the shop, the renovation site.
Zhang Hong also worked very hard and did not disappoint Lin Wanwan's expectations.
Zhang Hong came over and saw a pile of account books on Lin Wanwan's table, and roughly knew what was going on.
"The ledger isn't good enough?" Zhang Hong knew that the junior accountant was arrogant and looked down on everyone.
"Ugh, I'm so angry! What do you mean the ledgers are all like this?"
Ren Zijie frowned as well, “These days, accountants are hard to find. Those who are capable have all gone to work for formal companies and look down on small companies like ours.”
Lin Wanwan then realized that this was not the future, where accountants were in high demand and those with some ability worked in formal organizations.
"If I can't find anyone, I'll train them myself. Do any of you have recommendations?"
Ren Zijie frowned and thought for a moment, "I do have another candidate, Yan Yan's sister, but Yan Yan has cut ties with her family. If we find her sister, it means we've offended that family."
Lin Wanwan considered it for a moment, "Then let's think about it some more. Bringing trouble from so far away would only cause endless trouble."
As soon as she finished speaking, Lin Wanwan continued, "Is there anyone in the store who is not suitable to be a sales clerk, but is meticulous, has good character, and is eager to learn?"
Zhang Hong hesitated before speaking, "There's someone quite suitable for the second store."
"Really?" Lin Wanwan looked at her in surprise. "Tell me about it."
"That girl's name is Xu Xue. She's been here for almost three months since the training started, but her performance hasn't been very good. I originally wanted to persuade her to quit, because she's not suitable to be a sales clerk."
Zhang Hong quickly explained, "But her character is fine, and she's very meticulous. After she came, she managed the warehouse of the second store very well. She did everything properly, from categorizing and numbering to issuing and receiving goods. I was even thinking of having her teach the people at the first store."
“Then bring her over tomorrow so I can meet her. If she’s really good, a company will pay for her to sign a contract and send her to accounting school.”
Zhang Hong happily replied, "Okay, I'll bring her over tomorrow."
"By the way, the renovation of the three stores is almost halfway done. How's the recruitment going?"
Zhang Hong hesitated for a moment, "The requirements for hiring at the three stores are very high, and most of them are not suitable. Should we lower the requirements?"
"No, the positioning of these three stores is different from the previous two stores."
