Chapter 20 Returning to the Army

"Don't worry, I'm here."

Lin Wanwan smiled and hugged his arm. "Alright then, from now on, this family will depend on you, my husband. You'd better do your best."

Lin Xiaohai looked disgusted and took the child outside to wait for them.

Lu Feng first led her and Lin Xiaohai to the assigned courtyard, told them to sit there and wait, and went to get the car and pick up the marriage certificate.

Lin Wanwan held the child and walked around the house. The house was not big, but the yard was very big. There was a well in the corner. The well opening was big but very deep. She wondered if it would freeze in winter.

The house wasn't big. To the left of the entrance was the kitchen, next to which was the bathroom. The kitchen had a door that led to the yard. The bathroom was also quite large. To the right was the first bedroom, and beyond that was the living room. The living room wasn't big, but Lin Wanwan still planned to decorate it nicely.

Further inside the bathroom is a master bedroom, which is quite large. The kang (a heated brick bed) is built against the wall by the door and looks quite new. Opposite the kang are two large windows.

Although all the furniture had been taken away, Lin Wanwan was still very satisfied. She would buy some things to decorate and it would definitely be very cozy.

Lin Wanwan had decided what she wanted to buy. The house was quite clean, so they must have moved out not long ago.

Lu Feng's family is wealthy, and Lin Wanwan has no intention of depriving herself of anything; she will buy whatever she needs.

Just as she was thinking about what to buy, Lu Feng came in. "Have you decided? What do you want to buy?"

"I've looked into it, but will there be any problems if I buy too much?"

Lu Feng sighed and went forward to hug her. "You don't need to worry at all. From the moment I joined the army, the leaders above me knew my background. Although my family property was confiscated, I was not labeled a rightist. Moreover, my ancestors donated supplies and money for the War of Resistance against Japan, and my grandfather also devoted his entire fortune to supporting the revolution. Now all the property has been returned, and I have never had any problems. I was promoted in the army as I was supposed to. There won't be any issues. Don't worry, don't worry about causing me any trouble."
