Lin Wanwan looked up and saw him frowning, and she felt a little amused.
“Isn’t it good that he’s clingy? I’m afraid he won’t like me. He’s older now, and people will definitely say things to him that don’t mean anything. I’m afraid Tuanzi will have a problem with that.”
Lu Feng hugged her tightly and said, "You like him so much. Even though he's young, he can sense who treats him well and who doesn't. He's not stupid."
Just as I finished speaking, I heard Tuanzi banging on the door.
"Mommy~ Mommy~"
Lin Wanwan and he exchanged a glance, and she couldn't help but laugh.
"Go open the door quickly and bring him inside; it's cold outside."
Lin Wanwan heard her aunt outside comforting him.
Lu Feng pressed her down on the bed and kissed her for a while before letting go of her and getting up.
Lu Feng opened the door, picked up Tuanzi, and said to the aunt, "Auntie, I'll carry him inside. You can go back inside; it's cold outside."
"Hey, okay, did I disturb you guys?"
"No, we'll be there in a bit."
After the aunt left, Lu Fengcai picked up the dumpling, closed the door, and went inside.
Tuanzi didn't make a fuss when Lu Feng was holding him; he just smiled and thought Lu Feng was playing with him.
She tossed the little boy onto the bed, and he immediately crawled over to Lin Wanwan, softly calling out, "Mommy."
"Have you eaten, Tuanzi?"
"I've had some meat buns."
"How many did you eat? How many did you have?"
Lin Wanwan imitated his speech.
Tuanzi giggled, "I ate two."
Lin Wanwan found it amusing and hugged him, giving him two kisses.
"Why did you come all this way? Did you miss your mom?"
"I miss my mom."
Lin Wanwan played with him on the bed for a while, and after Lu Feng finished washing up, he took Tuanzi off the bed.
It was almost 11:30 when I finished tidying up and went to the living room.
Lin Wanwan was a little hungry, so she went straight to the kitchen to find something to eat.
A short while later, two bowls of soup were brought over.
She handed a bowl to Lu Feng, saying, "Eat something first."
Lu Feng took the soup and sipped it slowly.
Lin Wanwan was speechless at how politely he ate.
She was so hungry that she finished eating in no time.
Song Lanzhi said irritably, "Eat slowly. If you're hungry, why didn't you get up earlier?"
"I finally got to sleep in, and I drank too much last night."
"Does your head hurt?"
"It's alright, Mom," Lin Wanwan hugged her arm, "Where's my brother? Why isn't he home?"
“She’s chatting with Zijie inside,” Song Lanzhi said, pointing to the reception room next door.
"Is my brother trying to poach my girlfriend?"
Lu Feng glanced at her sideways, and Lin Wanwan touched her nose ingratiatingly.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Song Lanzhi poked her forehead.
"Who tried to steal your girlfriend?" Lu Anyang said with a half-smile as he walked out.
"No, nobody does."
Lu Anyang laughed, "I chatted with Zijie about things in Pengcheng. Are we planning to open a shop there?"
"Ah, right, it's in Guangdong Province now, which is close to Shenzhen."
"Is Pengcheng not planning to open now?"
"Take it slow. We're already short-handed, and I'm afraid it would be counterproductive to expand too much."
Lu Anyang nodded; his sister-in-law was quite intelligent.
"Indeed, taking a steady and methodical approach is a good thing."
"Thank you so much for the foreign businessmen you introduced me to. They're incredibly wealthy. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had so much money to buy land and build a factory."
"Doing business is about mutual benefit. If you feel you've made a profit, they feel the same way. They're very satisfied and say that my introduction was excellent."
"But I still want to thank you, brother. Without your recommendation, we wouldn't have been able to find such a suitable partner."
"So formal?" Lu Anyang raised an eyebrow.
"It's not that I'm being formal. Even if we're family, we should still say thank you. I'm just expressing my gratitude."
"No need to thank me. The clothes and shoes I'm wearing now were all arranged by you, so I didn't say thank you."
Song Lanzhi smiled and said, "That's right, we're family, why are we saying thank you?"
"Okay, then I won't say anything more."
Lu Anyang glanced at the pink diamond ring on her hand, said nothing, and turned away to ask Lu Feng about the school situation.
Song Lanzhi was worried that Lin Wanwan would be hungry, so she called her to eat in advance.
Zheng Yanye brought her child over.
"Where did you take the child?"
Zheng Yan's nose was red from the cold, and she was about to speak when Ren Hao spoke first.
"Pretty auntie, we're building a snowman in the outer yard. It's so pretty! I'll take you to see it in a bit."
"Okay, I'll go with you to see it in a bit," Lin Wanwan reached out and pinched his round face.
He looked up at Zheng Yan and asked, "Hao Hao has gained weight?"
Zheng Yan looked helpless. "Yingying has also gained weight. Auntie has been feeding them too much."
Song Lanzhi, holding Yuanyuan in front, turned around and said, "What's the big deal? Children need to eat and drink well. How are they fat? Don't talk nonsense."
Lin Wanwan exchanged a helpless glance with Zheng Yan.
Seeing that Tuanzi was having fun playing with her older brother and sister, Lin Wanwan reached out to hug Yuanyuan, who was in Song's mother's arms.
She kissed his little face and said, "Yuanyuan, I'm sorry, Mommy has been too busy lately and hasn't been able to hug you much."
Song Lanzhi felt a warm glow in her heart as she watched Tuanzi glancing at her round, red face.
"Don't be so cautious, Tuanzi isn't that petty. Yuanyuan, you can hug her as you please."
“Tuanzi is still young. I’m afraid he’ll think I don’t want him anymore because I have a younger brother.”
"No, aren't you afraid that Yuanyuan will think you like Tuanzi more later?"
"How could that be?" Lin Wanwan kissed Yuanyuan again, making him laugh.
"Both of them are Mommy's darlings. Mommy loves them both. I love Tuanzi and I love Yuanyuan. Tuanzi and Yuanyuan are Mommy's favorite little darlings."
