Chapter 293

Lu Feng looked down at her, unsure of what to say.

“If you want to move here, we can move here, and your older brother and mother can live there.”

"No, it's only meaningful when the family is together."

After the group viewed the house, Lin Wanwan took them to her hot pot restaurant.

“I just called my brother and asked him to pick up the two little rascals and come over for dinner.”

Xu Zhang nodded. "He doesn't have to come; he can just take the child over."

Gu Bei pushed open the door and said helplessly, "Mom, am I still your biological son?"

"I don't know, but Wanwan is my biological daughter."

Gu Bei and Li Zimu led Lu Jing and Lu Ming into the house.

Lu Jing ran straight to Gu Changfeng and shouted, "Grandpa, Grandpa, I want to see fighter jets!"

Gu Changfeng patted him on the shoulder, "Okay, when you have summer vacation, Grandpa will take you to see it."

Lu Ming looked very composed as he came in and greeted everyone one by one.

Gu Changfeng looked at him and nodded, "Xiao Ming is already a little adult."

"That's right, this child has grown so tall. Time flies. Xiao Ming was only two years old when we were in the army, and eleven years have passed. Your godfather and I have grown old."

Lin Wanwan said with a smile, "No, you're still as young as ever, you haven't aged at all, and you're just as beautiful as my grandma."

Qian Qian smiled and nodded at her, "You're so good at sweet-talking people, you're so good at it."

"Right, Grandma? She's the best at sweet-talking people," Gu Bei chimed in with a laugh.

"Let's order. What would you like to eat?"

Xu Zhang waved his hand, "You can order whatever you want. The dishes I arranged last time were all delicious."

Lin Wanwan handed the menu to Gu Bei and his wife, "You two order first, and I'll add more if it's not enough."

The two selected a few dishes and handed them to Lin Wanwan.

There were some elderly people with us today, so we ordered a hot pot with two broths.

"Grandpa and Grandma, we're going to transfer the property this afternoon. We'll come over next weekend to help with the move. You can start packing now."

Qian Qian nodded, "Okay, let's get ready when we get home."

"Okay, take the two nannies with you now. It'll be hard to figure out if you suddenly switch to someone else. You both need to take care of your health. I've already started asking people to find nannies."

Xu Zhang frowned. "How about we leave one for your brother and the others?"

Gu Bei smiled and shook his head, "Wanwan is right. Auntie is more familiar with the medicinal cuisine for you and your grandparents. We can just find another auntie."

“Alright, you two can find someone yourselves. Don’t let Wanwan help you find someone. Find someone you’re satisfied with,” Gu Changfeng said.

Gu Bei nodded, "Mom and Dad, you don't need to worry about us. We'll find a nanny as soon as possible."

"You decide for yourselves; you have to live your own lives well."

"I know, Dad. I'm getting old too. I'll take good care of myself and my wife and children."

"Just so you know."

“Hey, Uncle, who would say they’re too old? You should learn from my mom and say you’re forever eighteen.”

Lu Feng glared at him. "Lu Jing, eat your food."

Lu Jing pouted, "Fine, I won't say it then. I know, no one in our family can say anything bad about my mom."

Lin Wanwan looked at him with a grin, "It's good that you know, your brother was also helping me."

"Okay, I know, my mom is the head of the family."

"Hey, your awareness is excellent."

After finishing my meal and dropping off my grandparents, it was almost 4:30 when I got home.

"I'm so tired."

Song Lanzhi put down the yarn she was knitting. "I asked Auntie to make some soup. Would you like a bowl?"

"Thank you, Mom. I need to replenish my energy. I really feel like a housekeeper."

"Once you've moved, you can leave it alone. Don't exhaust yourself."

Lin Wanwan leaned on her shoulder and said coquettishly, "Mom still loves me the most."

"Drink the soup quickly, it won't taste good if it gets cold."

Lin Wanwan slowly drank her soup.

Song Lanzhi glanced at her, "Is Zimu still being stubborn?"

"Mom, you have such sharp eyes! She only came once after she got pregnant, and you already figured it out?"

"Zimu is sensitive and tends to overthink things. Don't keep getting too close to her, or she'll keep feeling awkward."

Lin Wanwan nodded, "I'm not stupid, why would I go near her like this? We're not even in the same office now, we don't see each other."

"After your maternal grandparents and godparents move out, try to stay away from her as much as possible."

"I understand, Mom."

Lin Wanwan wouldn't go looking for trouble by getting close to her.
