Chapter 7 Five Years Later

Five years passed in this fulfilling and boring way. During these five years, Song Jin had filled the space.

She traveled to many places and learned how to drive after she picked up a supply truck three years ago, although she failed to pass the driving test at first.

There was gasoline, diesel, and a lot of food in the car, and she put them all into the space.

Now, in addition to food and clothing, her space also includes five cars, twelve knives, and a box of pistols. She doesn't know how to use them, and she can't understand the brands and structures. Anyway, she just takes whatever she sees when she buys them for free.

There are several boxes of pepper spray and batons.

In addition, there is an entire warehouse full of seafood, which I stole from several warehouses when I passed by a dock.

One warehouse is for seafood, one warehouse is for frozen meat, pig ears, pig trotters, chicken legs, chicken wings, etc. There is also a warehouse for down jackets and a warehouse for various medicines, all of which have been put into her space.

Song Jin's most precious possessions are the eight boxes of gold, including zodiac gold, large yellow croaker, and small yellow croaker. I'm not sure if I can still use them, but I've never seen them before. I love them, I love them so much.

In addition to the gains from the space, Song Jin's skills have also improved a lot. Now she can kill zombies without changing her expression. It's because there are no cameras recording it, otherwise she thinks her skills are superb.

Days pass by, zombies are killed, supplies are stored. It seems very exciting and boring.

Every day I was either running for my life or running for my life, and my life was on the verge of death several times.

Song Jin began to get tired of such days. Many times he wanted to ask God loudly, did you send me here to work out? Look at this muscular body.

But she didn't dare, for fear of attracting zombies.

She had met people running for their lives along the way. Some were afraid that she would be a burden to them because she was alone, while others thought that she must have some ability to survive until now, so they kept asking her questions.

In short, she never met anyone like that boss again, so she continued to live alone.

Speaking of the boss, she had never seen his face clearly even after knowing him for so long, including when he taught her close combat techniques.

When she used to watch TV, she saw special forces soldiers smearing colored paint on their faces when on missions, but that way she could still recognize who was who at a glance.

But in reality, the lines on the boss's face seemed to be welded on his face, and she had never seen clearly what the man who had protected her for nearly a year looked like.

I didn't get to see him for the last time, which is a bit regrettable.

But she didn't think much about it. After all, you will meet many people on the road of life. Some people will help you, some will teach you lessons, and some will just pass by. All we can do is to learn from everyone's experience that is beneficial to ourselves.

Whether you learn from your mistakes, seek benefits and avoid harm, or silently cherish the memory, it all depends on your own heart.

After gaining insights into life, Song Jin continued to move forward. She had not found any water source for two consecutive days.

Yes, she thought of everything, food, clothing, shelter, and transportation, but she had forgotten water. She hadn't stored any water, and the water outside had long been undrinkable, and she couldn't afford to drink from the lake.

She had almost finished all the soup in the beef noodles that she had saved.

One day, Song Jinxin arrived in a city and saw a multi-story department store from afar. He got out of the car and put it back into the parking space.

After entering the building, I started packing my things. The first floor of this building is full of gold jewelry, various watches, and belts. Maybe they think they are useless, and the cabinet glass is broken, but the things are still there, and they are all cheap for Song Jin.

The second floor is filled with clothing: men's on the left, women's on the right, and children's clothing at the very back. I pick out the good ones that haven't been touched by zombies and put them all away.

The third floor is for books, which is the best preserved. Song Jin hesitated for a moment and finally collected all the books. These are books, full of knowledge. He would keep them for later entertainment and memories.

The fourth floor is the entertainment area, with various game machines, a cinema, and a 5D experience hall. After strolling around every store, Song Jin didn't find anything useful. Adhering to the principle of "thieves never leave empty-handed", he took away the store's power strips, removed the air conditioner on the wall, and the refrigerator and freezer at the entrance of the cinema...

The fifth floor is the food area. After walking around half the floor, every store was empty. The only thing she found was two bags of flour and three bags of rice in the first store, which she put into her space.

A person's luck may be a cycle, or it may be a reflection of the saying that everything that goes up must come down.

When Song Jin turned the corner, he encountered a dense group of zombies, probably at least fifty of them.

The zombies reacted quickly and surrounded Song Jin. Even though she was very agile and had space, she was unable to react quickly enough to get in.

She didn't want to turn into a zombie, so she stabbed the knife into her chest cleanly and efficiently, just like she had killed zombies countless times.

In her confusion and daze, she was still wondering, what was the purpose of my journey through time?
