☆232. Chapter 232 Growing Up

Chapter 232 Growing Up

Because Fu Yuling laughed, the atmosphere in the whole room immediately changed, and even the children started laughing.

Fu Qi's eyes felt a little sore. It had been so long since he finally saw the scene he had longed for. He wanted his life to continue like this, with them always by his side.

"Stay here today. I'll go get some more quilts."

Fu Qi couldn't stand such a sentimental scene and turned around and left in a hurry.

Fu Yuling hooked He Qiu's nose and said, "Xiao Qiu, go get some clothes and take a shower."

As for herself, she went to the kitchen to see if there was any hot water.

He Qiu went into the room. Fu's mother had already prepared some clothes for them in case they had to stay overnight.

He Wen and others who had nothing else to do followed Fu Yuling closely.

There wasn't much hot water in the kitchen, not even enough. Fu Yuling was about to get some firewood, but He Wen was very considerate and brought it over.

"So good."

Fu Yuling pinched his face and praised him.

He Wen stopped where he was and didn't move for a long time. Only when Fu Yuling went around to the other side to light the fire did he cover his face with his hands and become shy.

He An, who was standing next to him, saw that he was surprised and stood on tiptoe to poke the back of his hand.

"What are you doing?"

He Wen let go of his hand, very confused.

He An was soft and sticky, blinking while tilting his head.

"Brother, you're blushing!"

After being exposed like this, He Wen felt embarrassed.

Fu Yuling even looked over here. He Wen saw that everyone was looking at him, so he turned his back silently and walked out.

Fu Yuling shouted from behind, "Don't go too far."

He Wen did not respond and disappeared into the darkness until he could no longer be seen.

Fu Yuling put the firewood in, and the firelight flickered on her face, making her figure flicker.

Her eyes fell on the window. The scenery outside was bleak. She could see leaves falling from time to time and being blown onto the window by the wind.

It’s winter now, and the Chinese New Year is not far away!

Feeling emotional, He Xuan squatted beside her and imitated her in putting the firewood in. Then he looked up at Fu Yuling with sparkling eyes, hoping to get Fu Yuling's praise.

Fu Yuling wanted to tease him, "Xiaoxuan, why are you looking at me?"

She lowered her voice, "Xiaoxuan is already so old, he shouldn't need my help like Xiaoan, right?"

The word "help" instantly reminded He Xuan of himself standing in front of him without clothes, and his face turned red.

“You you you…”

He Xuan stared blankly with his eyes wide open, unable to speak.

“······Shame on you!”

Finally, He Xuan uttered three words and left.

Okay, I’ve “offended” another person and left.

However, Fu Yuling did not reflect on his own behavior. Instead, he saw that the time was almost up and lifted the lid of the pot to look at the bubbling water.

When I felt it was ok, I went over there to take out the extra firewood.

Then he took a wooden bucket to fill it with water and began to prepare things for them to take a bath.

He An was confused as to why they left one by one, but he was still very happy. He did not stick to Fu Yuling, but stood at the door by himself, playing the game of stepping on his own shadow, having a lot of fun.

The light lengthened his shadow, and He An suddenly shouted Fu Yuling.

She turned around and saw He An standing not far away, pointing at his own shadow, looking very happy.

“Grow up!”

The shadow was stretched a lot, and was taller than him, which naturally made him think that it was what he would look like when he grew up.
