☆59. Chapter 59: Big Embarrassment

Chapter 59: So Embarrassing

"You can go now."

His tone remained unchanged.

Fu Yuling nodded, and before leaving, he said something that made Xiaorui wail for a long time.

"Brother Li! I embarrassed you!"

"Just found out?"

"Ah~ You are not the brother Li I know..."

Ignoring his nonsense, Li Yan came to an object that had obviously been moved and stared at it in a daze.

Xiao Rui was still immersed in Fu Yuling's words, "You haven't finished writing, and there are eight typos in three sentences."

When Li Yan stood in front of him again, he didn't react.

He thought Fu Yuling was illiterate, so he just wrote a little bit to get by. If he couldn't write, he would just write it casually. Who knew that this person could actually read.

Then it was really embarrassing that I listened to her words carefully and nodded my head in front of her, pretending to be doing something serious.

He's a bit withdrawn.

"Leave."

Xiao Rui looked over and saw Li Yan had already walked a few meters away.

"Here I come."

"Bring the man down."

Xiao Rui slammed on the brakes, then ran over and carried the person on his back.

He couldn't help muttering as he hurried to catch up with Li Yan.

"Brother Li, you have such good academic performance, why do you want to be a policeman?"

He had asked this question many times, but Li Yan had never answered it once.

"What do you think?"

He asked back calmly.

Xiao Rui had no idea what he was thinking and immediately lost interest.

"Alright, alright, I better think about what to eat next!"

If he asks this kind of question, it means he is bored and has nothing to do.

Xiao Rui has a ruffian air about him, and even formal clothes look crooked on him, unlike Li Yan who is meticulous. So when he usually does things alone, others think he is a gangster.

If he didn't have the temporary "ID card" from the police station, he would have to prove to others that he was a good person before doing anything.

Xiao Rui looked at the person walking in front of him with envy, and no longer thought about anything else, concentrating on getting on his way.

Since the day He Qiu separated from He Wen, he has been staying in his room and has not left.

He Jingxue didn't register for the course at school, but only enrolled him in a class in town on Tuesdays. This meant that he only had that one day a week to study, and the rest of the time he had to study on his own.

He knew very well what He Jingxue wanted, so he would take all the exams. It was not because he wanted to, but because He Jingxue required him to take them, and he must get full marks.

Otherwise she would be annoyed, because to her, he was just something she used to compare with others in her spare time.

She could leave him aside anytime she wanted.

Before, his motivation to persevere came from his younger brothers at home. Worried that they were not well fed and clothed, he tried his best to please He Jingxue and secretly brought them food.

Now, when he thought of Fu Yuling, he put down his pencil, picked up a piece of dry and wrinkled paper, and looked at it in a trance.

After an unknown amount of time, he picked up a pen and began to write and draw on it.

The painting was finally finished an hour later.

He drew He Wen, He Xuan, He An and himself. The pen paused in his hand for a few times, and he slowly drew a small Fu Yuling in a corner not far from them.

She looked like she was holding a paper airplane and looking at them with a smile on her face.

After finishing the painting, he wanted to hang it on the wall, but when he thought of He Jingxue, his clear eyes darkened a little. He silently put the paper back to its place until it was out of sight. Then he picked up the notebook on the other side and started to do the questions.
