Chapter 37 The Newcomer Competition Begins

The competition is divided into preliminary rounds, trial rounds, and final rounds, with the order determined by a draw.

Half of the disciples were eliminated in the first round.

The second round of selection will choose the top twenty disciples.

The third round will determine the top ten.

The four peaks have a total of more than 200 disciples. Each round consists of four matches held simultaneously, and the preliminary test takes three days to complete.

On the first day, Shang Yanting had a bye, and Jia Xitong watched the arena matches with him all day.

Most of the new disciples are still at the Martial Apprentice stage, with the slightly more advanced ones at the late Martial Apprentice stage.

They basically fight hand-to-hand, relying on agility, strength, and skill, with every punch landing hard, teeth and blood flying everywhere. Not only are many bruised and battered, but quite a few are even knocked unconscious.

"It's terrifying when they fight."

Even at dinner time, Jia Xitong was still recovering from the competition and was planning to draw several more talismans for Shang Yanting that evening.

"Senior Brother Liu Hao's Demon-Slaying Fist is truly amazing; he actually pierced through the wooden stake with a single punch."

The man in the Tianwu Peak disciple's robes answered, his right fist clenched, appearing extremely excited.

"Of course not."

His companion chimed in, "If that punch landed on someone's head, they'd be meeting the God of Martial Arts. Their Rising Sun Peak probably has the most people eliminated today among the four peaks."

"What four peaks? Three peaks are fine, aren't they?"

The third person showed a hint of disdain, "Is there only one disciple named Feng on Qing Shuang Peak? I heard that he was kicked out of the abandoned west wing by the steward yesterday and didn't dare to utter a sound."
