"Mom, who said I didn't think about you? I'm back now, aren't I?"
Su's parents looked out the door with a hint of surprise and delight, only to see Su Hecheng standing at the gate of the mansion carrying two large, exquisitely packaged bags.
Su's mother stood up and went to greet him. Su Hecheng immediately put down what he was holding and hugged his mother.
"Oh, my good child. Let Mom see if you've lost weight," Su's mother said, her voice trembling slightly.
Su Hecheng glanced casually at Su Heyi, bypassing his mother, and then a smug smile appeared on his face.
Su Heyi lowered his head and took out his phone to play.
Normally, after Su Hecheng returned, Su Heyi would basically have nothing to do in this family.
He can play on his phone for another ten minutes or so, and when it's almost time, he can just make up an excuse to leave.
"Why didn't you come back with your brother again? Do you think your brother is a delivery company? Is it enough that the luggage is there?" Su's father asked angrily.
Su Hecheng's face immediately fell. "What did Su Heyi complain about to you about this time?"
Su's father's mood changed from the joy he felt when he first saw his son to anger at this moment, and the whole process took less than 3 minutes.
"What could He Yi possibly complain about to me? You did something wrong and when I pointed it out, your first reaction wasn't to reflect on your actions, but instead to blame your brother for complaining to me?"
Su He rolled his eyes and retorted quietly,
"What's there to reflect on? He came to pick me up reluctantly in the first place. I left him some luggage to appease you guys. I think I'm really considerate."
Su Heyi: "???"
Yes, she's so understanding.
They even remembered to leave him a suitcase as proof, so that his parents would believe he had gone to pick up Su Hecheng.
Su Ying reached out and picked up a long-handled umbrella next to him, then staggered forward a few steps, wanting to beat up that kid Su Hecheng.
Seeing this, Su Hecheng hid behind his mother in fear, and then said in a sly tone,
"Mom! Look at Dad! He's going to beat me again for that son who's not related to me by blood!"
Su's mother reached out and gently patted Su Hecheng, "Shut up."
Su Ying was furious. He stood in front of his mother, picked up his umbrella, and pointed at Su Hecheng, who was standing behind her.
"You think you're so great just because you talk so much? He's your brother even though we're not related by blood!"
Su Heyi shrugged and reluctantly stood up from the sofa.
He was about to plead with Su's father to show mercy to a despicable brat who had insulted him and treated him like a beggar.
Sometimes, he really felt that he owed his current status in the entertainment industry to Su Hecheng.
"Dad, don't get agitated. He Cheng just said it unintentionally."
“Yes, yes, don’t hold it against your son,” Su’s mother chimed in.
Su Hecheng glanced at Su Heyi with disgust, then retorted loudly,
"I didn't mean it, Su Heyi, don't pretend."
Su's mother turned around and slapped Su Hecheng in exasperation.
Su Heyi had already given him a way out, but he was still so unreasonable. Did he really want to be beaten up by Su Ying?
Su Ying's hand trembled twice, and he pointed at Su Hecheng haltingly, saying...
"Fine, fine. The whole family is hypocritical, only you, Su Hecheng, are truly sincere. Get out of here! Stay abroad for the rest of your life and never come back! We hypocrites can't accept someone as sincere as you!"
Su Hecheng became even angrier. He straightened his back and looked at his father incredulously, asking,
"You're going to kick me out because of this son who was given to you by someone else?"
Su Heyi glanced at Su Hecheng indifferently.
here we go again.
Every year when I go home, I always say: "This is a son that someone else sent to me."
Su Ying sighed and said slowly, "Yes. Get out of here."
Sukhe was furious. He ran over and kicked the two large bags to the ground, then shouted loudly.
"Do you really think I don't know? You treat Su Heyi so well just because he's the son the Gu family sent over, right?"
You want to curry favor with the Gu family, so you've been going to great lengths to be nice to Su Heyi! If I were Gu Shaojin, I'd think you were just putting on an act!
Su Heyi and his mother glanced at Su Hecheng in shock, then turned to watch Su's father's expression closely.
Suheyi really couldn't believe it.
So Sukjeong actually thought that's what his own biological father thought?
This must have been incredibly disheartening for Su Ying.
Su Ying threw the umbrella at Su Hecheng, and the next second, he picked up the nearest vase and smashed it hard on the ground.
Su's mother and Su Heyi anxiously stepped forward to stop Su's father, urging him to control his emotions.
Su Hecheng glared at Su Heyi with disdain, then said sarcastically,
"Su Heyi, it's because of you that I'm arguing with my dad now. If you didn't exist, none of this would have happened! I think you're a real menace!"
Your biological parents were truly prescient; they abandoned you early on, preventing you from staying with them and causing them trouble.
Now that you mention it, the Gu family is really shrewd. They took you in and raised you for two or three years before dumping you with us, so you wouldn't cause them any trouble!
In the end, we're the poor thing! A piece of trash that was tossed around ended up in our house! And we had to take it all in! And we got ourselves into all this mess because of it!
Su Heyi's hand, which was supporting his father, suddenly went limp. He stared blankly ahead, his mind a complete void.
Suheyi doesn't remember much about what happened afterward, but he vaguely remembers that Suhecheng seemed to have said a lot of insulting things to him.
Then he lost control of his mind and impulsively went up and hit Suhecheng.
Su Hecheng was not to be outdone, so the two of them hit each other with all their might.
Su's parents couldn't hold the two of them back, and neither could the housekeeper, nanny, or security guards.
Finally, it seems that Su Hecheng picked up a shard of a vase from the floor and smashed it hard on Su Heyi's head.
At this point, Suheyi truly had no memory of anything.
"She's awake! She's awake!" Su's mother shouted loudly towards the outside of the ward.
Gu Shaojin slowly got up from the sofa and then walked into the ward.
Su's father followed Gu Shaojin's steps and walked inside.
Su Heyi was lying on the hospital bed with his head wrapped in layers of gauze, and there were red bloodstains under the gauze.
His eyes opened with difficulty, and his lips were purple and severely cracked.
He opened his mouth as if to say something, but couldn't utter a single word for a long time.
Gu Shaojin looked at Su Ying and Su's mother with a cold expression and said calmly, "Uncle and Aunt, now that He Yi is awake, you should go see Su Hecheng first. I can take care of He Yi here."
Su's parents looked at Su Heyi with some difficulty, "But..."
Gu Shaojin remained calm and stopped talking to them, but his expression said it all.
