Chapter 18 Surgery Successful

Yu Tingting's face fell under her mask. She glared at Ming Jiayi with a mixture of anger and embarrassment, stammering for a long time before finally managing to utter a word.

“If there really is such a rule, and you don’t like me breaking it, then the door is over there, please do as you please,” Ming Jiayi said calmly.

Then, she took the needle holder and threaded it through Ming's father's skin, stitching him up one stitch at a time.

The needle pierces the skin and then goes into another layer of skin, back and forth, about 20 times.

The stitching is complete.

The surgery was successful.

Ming Jiayi let out a sigh of relief, feeling refreshed and comfortable all over.

"Wow, the surgery was a success!" the nurse next to Ming Jiayi exclaimed happily.

"That's amazing! The success rate for this kind of tumor removal surgery is usually around 20%, but it seems like the success rate is 100% under your hands," said the intern observing in the operating room.

“Let’s send him to the ICU for monitoring,” Ming Jiayi said to the nurse next to her.

At this moment, her eyes shone with a sharp and piercing light, making her appear radiant.

She glanced at Yu Tingting and spoke again meaningfully, "The operating room on the 23rd floor is also monitored."

Yu Tingting stared at Ming Jiayi with a pout, completely unaware that Ming Jiayi had overheard their conversation.

The doctor who had discussed the matter with her stood there at a loss, his gaze shifting back and forth between Ming Jiayi and Yu Tingting.

Without evidence, Ming Jiayi won't rashly expose the two of them, but if they dare to attack Ming Yiran again, she will definitely not let them off.

The "Operating" light outside the operating room went out. Ming's mother, who had been sitting on the bench outside for nearly six hours, had some back pain and numbness in her legs, but she still went to greet them immediately.

Ming Jiayi had already slipped back to the changing room and changed back into her original clothes, covering herself up completely.

Therefore, the doctor who walked out of the operating room through the main entrance was the intern who had been observing the surgery. He was the one who informed Ming's mother and Ming Fengche of the surgical results.

"Doctor, how is my husband?" Ming's mother's heart was in her throat. She looked at the doctor with a solemn expression, as if she was about to collapse at any moment.

Ming Fengche was supporting Ming's mother from the side.

"Auntie, the surgery was a success. The nurse will take Uncle to the ICU for monitoring in a little while. If everything is alright, he can be transferred back to a regular ward in a few days. Don't worry."

“Okay, okay,” Ming’s mother replied excitedly.

The doctor removed his mask, his smile barely concealed as he flattered, "Auntie, Uncle was just lucky to survive. A doctor who just returned from winning an award abroad came to the hospital these past few days, and the hospital director specially arranged for her to perform the surgery on Uncle."

I watched the doctor perform the surgery with my own eyes for over five hours, and I must say, her surgery was truly excellent. I even considered becoming her apprentice.

"Really? What's the doctor's name? I'll definitely thank her properly another day." Ming's mother was so excited that she gripped Ming Fengche's hand a little tighter.

"I don't know either. The hospital director only told us half an hour before the surgery started. We didn't even have time to ask him clearly." The doctor scratched his head somewhat embarrassedly and replied.

"Okay, okay, it's alright. I'll ask the dean again when I go to thank him tomorrow."

As Ming's mother was speaking, Ming's father was wheeled out of the operating room by the nurses.

Because he had just undergone surgery and the effects of anesthesia had not completely worn off, Ming's father looked somewhat haggard, and his consciousness was not very clear.

Ming's mother hurriedly went over and followed the bed forward.
