"The effects of the sleeping pills wore off so quickly?" Ming Jiayi asked, frowning in confusion.
Su Heyi picked up the phone next to him and tapped it a few times. Immediately, a standard male voice came out from the phone's speaker.
"I didn't drink it."
"Not drinking means..." Mo Xing looked at Ming Jiayi and the others somewhat awkwardly, and said in a weak voice, "Did he hear everything you just said?"
"It's alright, so what if I heard it?" Ming Fengche said calmly, looking at Su Heyi.
Su Heyi thought for a while, then lowered his head and started typing on his phone again.

Su Heyi glanced down at Ming Fengche's hands, signaling him to take them away, otherwise he wouldn't be able to type on his phone.
Ming Fengche pursed his lips, withdrew his hand, picked up the phone next to him and handed it to Su Heyi, then leaned his head over.
Su Heyi quickly typed a few lines of text, but before he could press the "convert to voice playback" button, he deleted the text.
A moment later, the clear, distinct male voice rang out again.
"I want to clarify first that I did not drink heavily after breaking up with her. As for the reason why we broke up, it was indeed largely because of her poor character."

Gu Shaojin glanced at Chen Jing, who was staring intently at him, and then heard him cough softly. Ming Jiayi's thoughts were immediately drawn back to him.
She pointed to Gu Shaojin and introduced him casually, "Well, let me introduce you. This is Gu Shaojin, the CEO of Gu's Group. He has something he'd like to discuss with you, Director Chen."
Chen Jing pointed to himself in confusion, then asked, flattered, "Me?"
"Yes," Gu Shaojin replied coolly.
Jiang Yisong put down his camera, then put on his glasses and looked at Gu Shaojin's face carefully. Soon, an expression of envy and surprise appeared on his face.

He actually met a big shot in person.
The role model of a legendary man in the business world was standing right in front of him!
Chen Jing looked at Gu Shaojin in surprise, then stammered and asked,
