After dropping Ming Jiayi off at her city apartment, Gu Shaojin drove back to the Gu family manor alone.
It was very late when he arrived at the Gu family manor. The lights in both villas were off, and the entire manor was quiet.

As Bi Tingran walked along, she heard Ming Jiayi's somewhat sarcastic remark. She couldn't help but turn around and burst into laughter at Ming Jiayi, who gave her a thumbs up before turning back and walking away with an air of nonchalance.
Yu Jianyan turned around and glanced at Bi Tingran, then shouted angrily, "Incomprehensible!"
At the same time, Xie Leying's face fell. She glared at Ming Jiayi, then stepped forward and gently tugged at the hem of Ming Jiayi's clothes.
