"Where is my little spirit pet? Where can I check it?"

[At the little cutie's house.]

"oh……"

After the ceremony ended, Ming Jiayi straightened her clothes and slowly walked over to sit in the space between Xiang Wanqiu and Bai Li.

"Hi~" Bai Li greeted politely.

"Hello." Ming Jiayi smiled at Bai Li, waved to him with her left hand, and gently pressed her right hand on Xiang Wanqiu's dress to prevent her from leaving.

"I wonder where you learned first aid? It's so standard. I studied at medical school and worked in a hospital for a while, but I'm not confident I can have such fast reflexes." Bai Li raised the corners of his mouth, his smile particularly bright and sunny.

"Me?" Ming Jiayi pointed to herself and said without batting an eye, "I taught myself, isn't that amazing? Want to become my apprentice? I can teach you more than any school teacher can."

"Really? Then I'll have to ask you for your guidance another day. We're having a celebration party later, would you like to join us?"

"A victory celebration banquet?" Ming Jiayi said slowly, turning her gaze to Xiang Wanqiu. "Is Sister Wanqiu going too?"

"I haven't invited you yet. Wanqiu, are you going?" Bai Li asked Xiang Wanqiu.

Upon seeing Bai Li's gaze, Xiang Wanqiu immediately concealed her earlier displeasure and said, "Alright."

“Then I’ll go too.” Ming Jiayi turned to look at Xiang Wanqiu, forcing a smile that was both forced and sarcastic.

"However, could I have a few words with Sister Wanqiu alone?" Ming Jiayi asked with her back to Bai Li.

“Of course, I’ll go get the car first and wait for you at the entrance of the venue in a bit.” Bai Li stood up and walked towards Ming Jiayi and Xiang Wanqiu.

"Okay, thank you."

Ming Jiayi looked up at Bai Li's back and pulled Xiang Wanqiu towards the restroom.

The restrooms were the only place in the venue without cameras, making it easier for them to say and do whatever they wanted.

"Ming Jiayi, what are you doing? Let go of me." Xiang Wanqiu angrily shook off Ming Jiayi's hand and said.

"Yu Xin told you everything that just happened, right?"

"So what? Why are you asking me about the good things she did?" Xiang Wanqiu rolled her eyes and replied irritably.

"Hmm, that's what she did. So, she forced you to give me this drink too?" Ming Jiayi took out a bottle of drink from her bag and asked casually.

"Is there something wrong with this drink? I was just being kind by giving you a drink, there's no need for you to make such wild guesses."

"I've already sent the drink for testing. We'll know the truth tomorrow," Ming Jiayi said calmly, leaning against the sink.

"Test?" Xiang Wanqiu's expression suddenly stiffened. "You're so boring. Don't think you can scare me like this. It's just an ordinary drink."

Ming Jiayi smiled.

It seems they don't believe it.

"Whatever, but I've recorded what you just said to shirk responsibility, and I'll forward it to your agent without missing a second."

Xiang Wanqiu's face stiffened even more. She excitedly took two steps forward, trying to snatch Ming Jiayi's phone.

Ming Jiayi easily dodged to the side, and Xiang Wanqiu missed her target, ending up slumped awkwardly on the sink.
