Four Conch Shells

Four Conch Shells

"You've got the wrong person." Wu Chunlai stood on the street with his arms crossed, his expression looking a little ugly under the mask.

"Hand over the four conchs, otherwise..." the black-robed man whispered viciously.

Wu Chunlai was losing patience. Four conchs? If only he had one, he wouldn't have to worry about it every night.

He stretched his muscles and nimbly drew out the soft sword wrapped around his waist, silently and without a sound, leaving only a faint cold shadow in the air.

Seeing this, the man in black robe also drew his sword and took the next move.

Wu Chunlai's wrist trembled slightly, and the originally straight sword suddenly softened, winding up along the black-robed man's sword like a spirit snake.

The cold tip of the sword touched his knuckles, and the man in black robe quickly withdrew his sword and separated from Wu Chunlai.

Wu Chunlai was not interested in fighting, he just wanted to get away from this place as soon as possible.

He drew his sword again, and the soft sword directly wrapped around the waist of the man in black robe. Wu Chunlai used some force to throw him backwards, and he crashed directly into the puppet walking towards him.

He quickly flew onto the roof, jumped in the air, and quickly left the place.

......

Wu Chunlai stood on the roof, looking down at the ground some distance away from him, where a person was running wildly.

The man was holding a glowing object in his hand, which seemed a little unreal to Wu Chun, so he followed the man's steps and continued to jump towards the roof in front.

Seeing that the man was wearing clothes very similar to his own, he suddenly remembered what the black-robed man asked him for. Wu Chunlai realized that what the man was holding in his hand was most likely the four conch shells, the key to Atlantis.

Thinking of this, his heart trembled violently for a moment, and his breathing became a little faster. The thing he had been thinking about was so close to him at this moment.

Wu Chunlai did not dare to pause for even a moment. He followed the man's steps closely. However, the roof was not as flat as the ground. Even though he tried his best, he was still far behind the man.

“!?” Where did he run to?

Wu Chunlai stopped and jumped off the roof. He looked at the intersection with many roads leading to different directions, and felt even more confused. That person had disappeared out of thin air.

He searched everywhere desperately, but there was no sign of anyone. Could it be that some secret method was used?

Wu Chunlai clenched his hanging hands into fists. He was really unwilling to see the meat that was about to reach his mouth fly away.

"Here comes Wu Chun!"

Hearing this, he turned around and looked at the person behind him who called his name in surprise, and said, "You're back."

Shi Guiyi's return diluted some of the resentment in his heart. Wu Chunlai walked towards her in two steps, with a smile on his lips.

"Look at you, you don't even know there's dust on your face." After saying that, Shi Guiyi was about to raise his hand to hold his sleeve and brush away the dust for him.

Wu Chunlai looked at her face which was completely covered by the wide sleeves, and the scene in front of him was all white. He closed his eyes and wanted to enjoy the warmth of the moment.

But he didn't notice that Gui Yi's eyes suddenly turned fierce under his sleeves.

Wu Chunlai cried out in pain, looked at the dagger stuck in his chest, blood oozing from the corner of his mouth. He knelt on the ground in disbelief, looking at Shi Guiyi with eyes full of confusion.

"It's you?" He spat out another mouthful of blood, supporting himself on the ground with his hands, his vision gradually becoming blurred.

"You're too slow. I really can't wait any longer." Young Master Crow took off his cloak and threw it away.

The cloak suddenly opened and froze in the air for a moment, then swayed and fell on Wu Chunlai. He just used some rhinoceros horn incense. Such rare things are now plentiful in Fengdu Ghost Market.

This dagger will not take Wu Chunlai's life, it will only restrict his freedom.

Young Master Crow looked disdainfully at the group under the black cloak, took off the mask on his face, and the face revealed was exactly the same as Wu Chunlai's, except for the black mole at the corner of the eye.

Wu Chunlai is his clone. In order to distinguish him, he deliberately put a mole on the corner of Wu Chunlai's eye.

"Huh?" The ground suddenly shook. Young Master Crow tried hard to steady himself, but unfortunately the hood on his head fell off.

He looked back and saw a huge spider rushing towards him. It was so fast that Young Master Crow could only barely avoid it and almost fell over.

"Oh my God..." He sighed and pulled the corners of his mouth.

"!?" Young Master Crow turned around. Why was he the only one left here?

Where did Wu Chunlai go?

"Forget it, business is more important." He didn't have the time to look for someone, and Wu Chunlai couldn't break his restriction in a short time anyway.

Young Master Crow stood at the place where the man disappeared, touched the air with his bare hands, and found no fluctuations. He guessed that he had not entered some kind of space.

He clicked his tongue and put the mask back on. Someone was coming.

"It's Mr. Wu. How are you?" A gentle voice sounded from behind. Gao Tinghan fell from a high place, his toes lightly tapping the ground.

Young Master Crow turned around calmly and did not speak immediately. He thought to himself that it was really troublesome that he met an acquaintance from Wu Chunlai as soon as he arrived.

"I hope you are well." Young Master Crow said lightly, and he became alert all over when he looked at Gao Tinghan, who was a little taller than him.

"I wonder if Mr. Wu has seen the spider in my house?" Gao Tinghan exchanged a few words. Anyway, he had just sensed the breath of the "Wanfang Realm" and was not in a hurry.

Young Master Crow pointed him in a direction and stopped talking.

"Thank you very much." After saying this, Gao Tinghan was about to raise his foot to look for the spider that had "run away from home".

"Oh, by the way, Wu Chunlai is good at using the sword with his left hand, so you... have to be careful." He stopped again and kindly reminded.

Upon hearing this, Master Ya paused holding the sword, and his eyes suddenly fixed on Gao Tinghan's back and chest.

This person actually easily discovered his identity based on this alone!?

Gao Tinghan didn't even turn his head, he just turned sideways and caught the sword that Master Ya was stabbing at him with his bare hands.

His two fingers tightly clamped the cold sword, and with a "snap", the sword was broken without any effort.

"I really don't have time to play with you." Gao Tinghan smiled at him kindly from the side.

If we don't hurry up, the spider will really run to Stone Crow Pond to complain.

Young Master Crow looked at the broken sword in his hand with a grim expression, then silently transferred it from his right hand to his left hand.

He didn't expect that Wu Chunlai actually knew such a person. No wonder he was becoming more and more disobedient.

Buqitan

"Cough cough." Shi Guiyi leaned against the edge of the pool and coughed violently with her hands covering her mouth. Her lower body was still floating in the cold water. She climbed up on one leg and rolled onto the shore.

Suddenly, she covered her chest and began to feel pain there again. Shi Guiyi knew without thinking that today must be a full moon night.

But when she looked up, she saw a crescent moon.

Shi Guiyi's eyes became bewildered. In the past, his chest would only ache on full-moon nights, so why was it so painful now?

What changed her "curse"? Shi Guiyi looked at the calm water, puzzled.

However, the stinging sensation did not allow her to have the chance to distract herself. Shi Guiyi staggered to her feet. She wanted to go back as soon as possible. The cloth bag containing her medicine bottle was still in the inn.

There are pills there to relieve the pain.

......

Shi Guiyi stopped to rest, holding on to the wall. She really had no strength left. Two hours had passed before Shi Guiyi left the remote pond.

Fortunately, the pain has subsided a little, but it still affects her, otherwise she wouldn't walk so slowly.

Shi Guiyi looked at the people walking in groups of three or four on the street, and then disappeared into the darkness.

She looked too conspicuous now, and the pain in her chest limited her strength. If she encountered a thief with ill intentions, it would be difficult for her to deal with him in her current state.

Shi Guiyi tightened the thing hidden in his arms, which was a conch.

She wasn't sure if it was the Four Conches, because she had heard many people had received conches before.

Those who own conch shells have one thing in common: they have all stepped into the Buqi Pond.

It was obvious from her wet appearance that she had been in the pool.

Rumors soon spread in Fengdu Ghost Market that the Four Conches had appeared, and no one knew who was manipulating all this behind the scenes.

What everyone has in their hands may be real.

Until you are sure, it is best to avoid exposure.

Shi Guiyi turned around and left, leaving behind only a trail of wet footprints and water droplets.

This time she chose a road with many alleys, which would make it easier for her to escape even if she was discovered.

Shi Guiyi covered her chest which no longer hurt and walked faster and faster. Although she was not in a hurry to go back to take medicine, her body was very wet and the wind made her feel cold and uncomfortable.

As soon as she turned a corner, she ran into the gloomy-looking Mr. Crow.

Shi Guiyi's breathing stagnated, and he quickly took two steps back while holding the conch hidden in his sleeve.

"Wu Chunlai?" Shi Guiyi was relieved when she saw that the person she bumped into was not someone else. However, she saw that Wu Chunlai was in a strange state and asked in confusion.

A drop of cold sweat dripped down the corner of Young Master Crow's forehead. He covered his heart in disbelief. He hadn't felt such pain for a long time.

The moment he collided with Shi Guiyi, the pain in his heart reached its peak, as if a knife was cutting the flesh inside piece by piece.

Young Master Crow leaned on the ground with the help of his sword. He forced himself to raise his head. He had never seen the woman in front of him before, but he inexplicably felt a sense of familiarity.

And the moment Shi Guiyi smiled, he suddenly seemed to see Qinglian.

They really look alike, especially between the eyebrows and eyes.

Young Master Ya seemed to have forgotten the pain for a moment, and just stared at Shi Guiyi in a daze.

"What's wrong with you? Are you hurt?" Shi Guiyi asked with concern. Although Mr. Crow was wearing a mask, she still noticed that he was not feeling well.

Facing the trembling hand extended by Young Master Ya, Shi Guiyi subconsciously shook it back and moved closer to him.

The moment their palms touched, Young Master Crow felt even more pain in his heart, and his face twisted for a moment, but he was unwilling to let go and instead held on even tighter.

If you relax, the pain will be relieved.

Young Master Crow's eyes suddenly filled with tears. This was a "curse", a curse that belonged to him.

So who is this person in front of me...

Young Master Crow already knew what was going on at this moment.

He smiled at Shi Guiyi, with the same expression as Wu Chunlai.
