Chapter 232 Useless Waste

Dark Moon Fairy raised her hand, flashing a few cold lights as several darts shot out. Seeing this, Ding Kun was startled and quickly dodged to the side. However, just when he thought he had dodged it, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his neck.

He couldn't help but reach out and touch it, but he felt a trace of warm liquid. Ding Kun's face suddenly changed drastically. Before he could think about it, he felt a strange numbness all over his body. Then his body went limp and he collapsed to the ground.

Dark Moon Fairy slowly approached him, a sneer on her lips. At this moment, a colorful little snake emerged from the darkness and quickly crawled onto Dark Moon Fairy's waist.

Dark Moon Fairy looked down at the little snake and chuckled softly, "What are you hiding for, you idiot pig? My darts aren't poisonous! The one that's poisonous is this little cutie!"

Ding Kun was so frightened when he heard this that he almost died. He pleaded in a trembling voice, "Please... please, don't kill me! I... I'm willing to do anything for you! Just spare my life!"

The corners of Dark Moon Enchantress's mouth curled up slightly, revealing a cold and charming smile. "It's not impossible for me not to kill you! Tell me the truth. Who ordered you to come and assassinate me?"

Ding Kun panicked and quickly replied, "It was Xiao Jingyi! He ordered me to kill Xiao Jinghan and Xiao Xiao!"

Dark Moon Enchantress asked curiously, "Oh? Then what kind of reward did he give you? Was it gold?"

Ding Kun hesitated for a moment, sighed, and then confessed, "I asked him for an ancient book on witchcraft!"

Dark Moon Enchantress curled her lips in disdain and sneered, "Trying to detoxify with witchcraft? That's simply wishful thinking! Forget it in this lifetime!"

After she finished speaking, she flew up as lightly as a ghost and quickly rushed towards the carriage that Xiao Jinghan was riding in!

After Dark Moon Fairy left, a tall man slowly emerged from the dense forest. He stared coldly at Ding Kun, who had fallen to the ground, a trace of disgust on his face as he muttered, "What a useless piece of shit!"

Ding Kun was venomous and lying on the ground, unable to move. However, he still struggled to make a sound: "Master...save me..."

Hearing Ding Kun's shout, the man frowned slightly and shouted angrily: "Shut up! Who allowed you to call me like that? Don't call me Master anymore!"

Ding Kun felt a sharp pain in his heart, but he did not dare to go against the man's wishes, and quickly changed his words: "Sir...save me..." His voice was full of pain and pleading, hoping to arouse the man's compassion.

The man casually tossed him a snake venom-curing pill and said sternly, "Didn't you solemnly tell me that Dark Moon Fairy's poison technique had reached a state of perfection? Why haven't I seen her use poison yet? I've only seen her blindly controlling those venomous snakes!"

Ding Kun took the antidote, breathed a sigh of relief, and quickly explained, "Sir, calm down. The poison I was poisoned with was indeed from the hands of Dark Moon Fairy!"

Upon hearing this, the man simply glanced at Ding Kun and responded slowly, "I have never seen this poison before, and there is really no way to cure it!" His tone was calm, but the majesty contained in it made people dare not question it.

Xiao Jinghan sat in a gorgeously decorated carriage, slowly driving along the winding mountain road. The creaking sound of the wheels breaking the tranquility of the mountain forest.

Suddenly, a group of well-trained soldiers in black armor appeared in front of the carriage and quickly surrounded it.

The leading general, sword in hand, unhesitatingly drew aside the carriage's curtain. When he saw what was inside, he cried out in alarm, "We've been tricked! Retreat!"

It turned out that the person sitting in the carriage wasn't their expected target, but a completely unfamiliar man. This man had a gloomy expression, and his eyes revealed a chilling coldness. Unflinchingly, he raised his sword, leaped forward, and instantly severed the general's head!

The surrounding soldiers were frightened by this sudden scene and retreated repeatedly, at a loss for what to do. At this moment, another group of people rushed out from the woods. They were nimble and agile, obviously martial arts masters. They coordinated with the men in the carriage and engaged in a fierce battle.

It wasn't long before the attacking soldiers were crushed. The battlefield was filled with a strong, nauseating smell of blood. Blood stained the ground, as if proving the ferocity of this brutal battle.

The prison van escorting Xiao Xiao was moving slowly forward when suddenly a group of mysterious men in black emerged from all directions and blocked their way. These men were quick and well-trained, clearly well-prepared.

The leading man in black waved his arm, signaling his men to attack. Instantly, countless arrows rained down on the prisoner van, leaving no room for escape.

However, Xiao Xiao, sitting in the prison van, showed no sign of panic. The corners of her mouth curled up slightly, revealing a barely perceptible smile. With a gentle wave of her arm, the chains that had been restraining her seemed to come alive, swiftly breaking through the van's wooden planks and flying free.

The iron chain swept across like a dragon emerging from the sea, carrying a fierce momentum. Before a large number of men in black could react, they were knocked to the ground, letting out bursts of screams.

The leading black-clad man was secretly shocked when he saw this. He stared at Xiao Xiao with wide eyes and said in disbelief, "You...you are not Xiao Xiao!"

The woman before him possessed such profound skills, far beyond the reach of ordinary warriors. Her movements were agile and her moves were fierce; she was definitely not the Xiao Xiao he knew.

Who is she? Why is she here? A series of questions flooded his mind, causing the leading man in black to fall into deep thought. Meanwhile, Xiao Xiao stood quietly on the prison van, staring ahead with cold eyes, as if waiting for the next battle to begin...

Before the leading black-clad figure could even order a retreat, another group of black-clad figures suddenly surrounded them like ghosts. These men were agile and swift, clearly masters of assassination. Their attacks were ruthless and merciless, each strike aiming for vital points. Before long, the black-clad figures who had attacked the prison van were lying in a pool of blood, all dead.

Shang Zhi, disguised as Xiao Xiao, saw this, and a subtle hint of indifference flashed across her eyes. She snorted coldly and ordered in an icy voice, "Keep going!" As if this bloody massacre was just a trivial episode to her.

As she finished speaking, the remaining men in black quickly cleaned up the scene and got back on the road. The prison van continued to move slowly forward and disappeared into the night.

Luo Lingyue caught up with Xiao Jinghan's carriage. After she got in, she saw Xiao Jinghan sitting in the carriage intact. She breathed a sigh of relief!

Xiao Xiao was tied up tightly and thrown into the carriage, staring at the two men angrily!
